Emerald Garden

We just got a couple of combination dinners to go and honestly I haven't had a meal this disappointing in a long while. The almond chicken was basically a few chicken nuggets with a side of yellow gravy, the sweet and sour pork (all three pieces) was pork nuggets with a side of sweet and source sauce. The egg roll was overcooked and I honestly have never tasted worse fried rice. I'm not sure how you mess up a simple rice dish, but it had very little flavor, save some weird aftertaste that was unpleasant. The chow mein was at least average, but couldn't save the rest of the meal. I will say the sauce portions were generous. I had at least a half cup of sweet and source sauce to drown my three pieces of pork, and we had two full cups of gravy for the ten or so pieces of almond chicken. Verdict: Sadly there aren't as many good Chinese places left in the valley as there once were, but Panda Express would be a better option. It's half the price, and if you're disappointed, you knew going in about what you were getting.

Was skeptical at first... Was pretty empty and we had not had the best meal there the first time several years back but hearing it was under new management decided to stop in with the kids for family dinner night. Was a big hit! Son absolutely loved the orange chicken and he's pretty picky about his orange chicken lol. Wonton soup was delishious and huge portions. All around no complaints. Chef came out to check on us and entertained my kids chatting. Super sweet friendly staff great service and yummy food. We will definitely be going back.

There was garbage out front of the restaurant in the bushes, no open sign, but still decided to keep walking in and see if maybe the food was going to be worth it. Not a single person in the restaurant. Was not offered a seat in the dining room. I do not want to eat my dinner in a lounge! I am not a drinker. It stunk like stale smoke. Only 1 person working, she took her time to grab 2 menu's. Could not bring myself to even try the food. I walked out. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I didn't feel safe trying the food. There are much better places around if you want Chinese food
