Alter House

We always love eating here. They use top quality ingredients that are often locally sourced and really know how to make amazing food. Oh and their drink specials are always so fresh and enjoyable as well! This visit we enjoyed a pork chop, vegan pizza, juicy burger, truffle fries and crab/brie fries. In the summers their salads are indescribably amazing with produce from local farms. Plus they have live music weekly!

We recently tried The Altar House for the first time and we were very impressed. The staff were all extremely friendly and the service was excellent. The food was also very good, and the portion sizes were larger than we would have expected. The execution and flavors of the dishes we had (steak and short ribs) was great! We were particularly impressed by the charcuterie board though. Many restaurants really phone in charcuterie boards, but not here! They really did a great job putting this together and there's a great variety on the board. We definitely can't wait to come back!

Alter house is our favorite spot. The food, drinks, staff, and ambiance are 5 stars all the way. Tracy the bartender is a drink artist she makes the best signature and dessert cocktails. The s’mores martini is the best with a toasted marshmallow on top. Go to alter house you won’t be disappointed and you’ll be back!

Went here for my birthday. The food was out of this world. My husband's pork chop was the best he has ever eaten. The service was impeccable. The drinks were so creative and perfect for January. This was my second time dining here. Each time was different and exciting. The farm to table experience is one of the better ones I have had. We love this restaurant so much we gave Gift Certificates as gifts. We will continue to give them as gifts and we will definitely be going back again and again.

Four of us went for a family birthday. The decor was lovely, the staff was kind and helpful, and the food was amazing. We had the pork chop which was outstanding, a hamburger with HOT chili peppers on it, a pasta dish and strip steak. All wonderful. I also have to give credit to the bartender - I had a charred orange old fashioned which I loved. And I hate old fashioneds 🤪 This was our first time here and we will absolutely be back again - our new favorite place.

We ate outdoors and loved it. Dining with my wife outdoors on a sunny day with nothing else left on the schedule for the day makes any restaurant a little bit better, but we enjoyed the food, the waitress, the hostess and the rest of the staff that came to visit us (but really our golden retriever, Charlie, who was in the car 10 feet from our outdoor table). Don't misunderstand, though! The outdoor area was quite welcoming, not like simply sitting in a parking lot! But we managed to park so Charlie was close.
