State Street Grill

Julie took the time to share about the restaurant's history! I loved hearing how the owner interacts with his staff and provides support by stepping up to help when needed! An owner that takes the time to bartend, bus tables, cook, or wash dishes is definitely an empowering individual. The ambiance and food was incredible... We will definitely return!

It was ok... The ambiance was nice. No cocktail menu which made ordering a drink less fun and required my own thinking and creating. For that reason I only got one drink. Our server was pretty short toned with us. The food was not spectacular but the prices were fair given the quality. If the prices were higher, I would have been more disappointed. I would not go back. Plating outshone the actual taste of the food.

I am completely new to the area. I recently moved here last year and was unable to enjoy this restaurant last year due to work demands. Firstly, the outdoor cadence of the restaurant will peak your interest. The have outdoor seating all year round. In the summer/spring, they have some nice tables, chairs, and (if I am not mistaken) benches set up for seating. In the winter, they offer a heated igloo with different themes within the igloos. The igloos are well put together and beautifully set up that will indulge you to take pictures with your date/friends/family when you are in there. Secondly, the customer service provided will welcome you to stay for hours. They have a great team in there from the bar to the managers. The owner/owners did an excellent job hiring for this location. Thirdly, the food is the best tasting food have eaten in a very long time. Fresh, flavorful, and they offer vegan options for the health conscious people out there. Overall, I highly recommend checking this restaurant out. You will not be disappointed. Also you can reserve a table on the app/website OpenTable if you prefer not to wait for a table there. Enjoy!

Excellent dinner at State Street Grill! We had the goat cheese squash blossoms for an appetizer along with crab cakes and meat loaf for entrees. All were delicious. The peach old fashioned was the strongest cocktail we’ve had in the area. Definitely worth the $10. Strong but very tasty! Colleen was our server and was very attentive. We will be back

I can't believe I have lived here all my life and never been to this restaurant! Far beyond anything I would've ever expected. Its probably one of the nicest, if not THE nicest in the area! We had the opportunity to sit outside and eat in the igloos (they're heated!) What an amazing experience! I personally had this apple cinnamon Margherita, French onion soup (the best I've ever had),and a bacon wrapped meat loaf entree. Presentation of the entree was impressive. Probably the fanciest looking dinner I've ever eaten. Pictures don't do it justice. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! All at a reasonable price!

Amazing! We had a family dinner in an igloo Two small kids and my husband and I and it was wonderful! The igloo was warm, the kids could wander around while my husband and I could sit and relax and the food was perfect! My husband had the fillet and I had the salmon and the fillet was cooked to absolute perfection! Since our dinner here I have recommended it to anybody who would listen! The service was also wonderful. Our server's name was Amanda she was friendly, attentive and fast! We can't wait to go back!

Stopped here for lunch on our way south. Besides trouble finding parking (we ended up in the Rite Aid parking lot across the street), it was a great experience. My wife got a red beet salad, while I chose the eggs benedict, subbing sausage for the smoked ham. Everything was well cooked, perfectly prepared and delicious. The service and the facilities were excellent and clean. Would definitely stop here again for some more excellent food.
