Shoney's

Saw the sign about 10 miles before I got to the exit lol. It really built up the appetite and the nostalgia. The restaurant looked exactly like I remembered and the people were friendly and the food was very good. They only had buffet available, but who could ask for anything more? Very well-tended breakfast buffet and attentive waitress keeping the drinks topped up for the people dining. If you've never had the shoney's experience, get it while the getting is good!

I've always liked Shoney's and I wish there were more in the area. I went in on a Sunday at around 1:30PM. They only had the buffet due to staffing issues. The salad bar and catfish were excellent. I had some fried chicken and it was okay but tasted like the grease it was cooked in might have been due for a change. The service was great! Overall I recommend this place.

Good breakfast bar at a reasonable price. There was a good variety of food on the breakfast bar. Everything my husband and I tried was good and freshly cooked. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and kept our coffee filled. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The health department rating on the day of our visit was 99.

Had lunch there today. There were signs on the door saying all they were offering was a lunch buffet due to staffing shortages. I appreciated knowing this before going inside. I was impressed with the decision to do that, to keep those who need their job. The staff we interacted with were very polite, & friendly. Excellent service & excellent food. Very clean & well kept buffet.

Loved it went with my family for Father's Day. There was no special thing there for Father's Day just regular buffet. For family of 6 which we had 4 adults but my 15 year old sister was counted as an adult too and my little brother was just regular with his age.Our meal was like $85 for the 6 of us. You pay at the end of your meal not before.There was not a part I really hated about the restaurant. They did have wait times but it wasn't that long. They have a little gift shop corner in the front of the restaurant. The waitress was very sweet nice she was smooth with fill back up our drinks especially with the tea. The food was good. There was a little girl she looked like 6 or 7 and she was making her own plate and ended up wasting her whole plate. I feel like someone should just been there monitoring her for her family. I know she could be independent but someone still needed to be there or at least make her plate for her (All kids). But I love how there were 2 different race I saw just humans that helped her and told her it was ok. That makes me so happy that one guy told her don't pal everything in one plate she could come back. Then the other guy saw she was looking sad and he said you're okay it's okay. Then after away like I think 10 or 11AM they started bringing lunch out and put breakfast on one side of the buffet.

Great service and the food was great. Only had the buffet due to staffing issues but I reckon that’s to be expected in todays world. Would definitely go back and. Prices was reasonable and cost just as much as you would get at any burger joint and this food was way better and it was all you can eat. Give it a try on your way by.
