This place is finally under new owner's and let me tell you the food is delicious! I have tried triple delight, chicken and fresh mushrooms, shrimp with lobster sauce, Szechuan chicken, and four seasons! Everything was absolutely delicious 😋 My man has also tried general TSO's he loves it he also gets that with the honey wing sauce it is his new favorite! Staff is kind and super friendly! If you want good food with great service this is your spot!

Absolutely love the General Tso's Chicken combination plate. The combo plate is a great value for what you get. Combination plates always come with an egg roll. I was weary of trying the food with restaurant under new ownership, but then I found out that the owners of China Fortune were the ones running the place. I knew I was going to love the food since China Fortune's General Tso's is top 3 for me. Love that I don't need to drive to Elizabeth for great Chinese now! Would definitely recommend trying the Gen Tso's combo plate!! 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of my worst chinese experiences ever! I made the mistake of ordering beef eggfoo young. Fried rice was orange but not fried. The peas in the rice were hard....The egg patty was too moist in the inside and the beef wasn't done. Furthermore, the sauce that's supposed to be gravy looked like diarrhea from a night out drinking. I smelled it and turned my stomach. Smdh

Well when I heard that the Golden Gate was reopening I was excited. I stopped by and ordered a General Tso's chicken, a shrimp egg roll and an order of ham fried rice. When I got home I was excited to get everything out of the bag and containers and taste everything I tried the egg roll first with some sweet sauce. I was disappointed The egg rolls aren't the same ones they used to sell these ones have alot of the shredded cabbage like other Chinese restaurants use. No good.Strike one. I tried the ham fried rice next. When I opened the container I noticed that the rice was yellow, yes yellow. The pieces of meat were not ham. I think it was pieces of dryed out pork. The fried rice tasted NOTHING like the fried rice they used to serve. No good. Strike 2. Next up was the General Tso's chicken. I opened the container and put some on a plate with some white rice. This isn't the same General Tso's they used to sell. Sauce is different and the old General Tso's used to come with broccoli, peas and red peppers. This new General Tsos chicken only had broccoli. No good. Strike 3. The old golden gate had great food. If the new people that took it over were smart they would have kept the same recipes and not changed everything. I am very disappointed and won't be back.When I came in to pick up the order I saw the old owner thru the window standing in the kitchen. I thought wow the old owner is here helping out in the kitchen. I thought wow this food is gonna be good since the old owner was helping out. Boy was I wrong.

The honey and general tso was so soggy and terrible. My dog didn't eat any of it. My son missed school with bad stomach. These people see dollar signs and not people...bad decision on my behalf to ride over from Wilson on a bike for convenience. Sad people want to be nice over honesty. I adore the Asian and this one tore me up...love ya own

I never ate here before I explain that to them more than once. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken without knowing that the sauce already comes on it. Where I'm from they always put the sauce on the side. I explained that to them and they kept repeating their selves about how next time I should order it without the sauce and that's not sweet and sour chicken. They seemed like they had a nasty attitude that I really didn't know what I was ordering. So I just ask my money back they made it a very big deal that you can cook the sauce on the chicken I want it no sauce I told him I didn't know what the chicken was originally called lady told me she didn't know what I was talking about solder the best thing that I thought was what I wanted. I would not recommend them to no one with their customer service and my shrimp egg roll they didn't have any shrimp.
