A nice place to eat that is fast and friendly. The sushi is on a non-stop conveyor belt that means very little waiting. Other options are available to order. I love the seared salmon and the mango mochi for dessert.

My daughter loves coming here, and it has become part of our regular rotation because of how much my daughter enjoys it. The service is fantastic and they will go above and beyond without really even asking. Some of my favorites there are the Eel, Salmon Nigiri, fried calamari, Tuna Rolls, Edimame, seaweed salad, Gyoza, Spider Roll, and a lot more! It's definitely a value here!

The quality of the food was excellent. There are more items that are "premium" than other conveyor belt sushi restaurants I've visited in OR/WA. I also really liked that there were pictures of menu items that could be ordered ON the conveyor! Although it got busier as we were leaving, neither of us felt any lack of service. This was a great experience.

Honestly this place needs to stop serving sushi as a main dish because it’s not the best sushi you can get for prices they charge and they barely use mirin in the rice. HOWEVER the beef udon bowl is to die for absolute 5 star gourmet beef udon for $10 and even if you get take out they give you a heaping helping. I have no idea what kind of dashi they use for the broth but it’s the perfect balance of katsuobushi and miso I’ve ever tasted. It’s a consistent meal too I’ve never gotten a bad udon from them the only time I was upset was one time I ordered on a Sunday and they gave me a smaller helping of udon than normal and one time they separated the noodles from the broth to take home both minor issues that did not impact the quality of the food. I go here like once or twice a week strictly for the udon.

This place is great! They have a wide selection of sushi. Only reason why im giving them 4 stars is because theres not much (or at all) sashimi available but im sure u can prob order it. Scallop mayo is really good. Plus u cant beat it for the price- coming from California this is crazy! 10/10 would reco.

Some of cheapest sushi in town didn't affect the quality at all. Really delicious andChef's kept consistent flow. Free refills was nice which seems rare for sushi.

It's so hard to get affordable, unpretentious Japanese food in some places, so I was happy to find this place while traveling. Comfort food options, check. Sizable portion, check. Entrees under $10? I'll definitely come back for that. The rolls aren't long, but they're thick, and the nigiri were large enough that two bites maximized my enjoyment. They give you a silly amount of ginger and wasabi with takeout orders, but that hardly matters when what I'm actually here for is a big honkin' piece of smoked salmon.

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. With extremely affordable, well made food, fast service from both front of house and the kitchen, and the entertainment of your food coming to you on the conveyor belt, I'd give them 10 stars if I could. My partner and I frequent Akira for low key dinners that are light on your stomach AND your wallet. Make sure to try the Chicken Katsu Don while you're there, I could drink that sauce with a straw.

What luck to stumble into this little gem! Great selection of sushi and everything tasted great! Also, they totally went above and beyond and saw it was my 7 year olds birthday and brought her a special ice cream treat. Thank you to Akira Sushi and it's wonderful staff for adding to my daughter's special day.
