This was a fun, unique experience. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and it was fun to watch the food being prepared adjacent to the dining area. Everyone was very friendly. The waitress went out of her way to make it a special event. And that included helping us put on bibs before we ate. Nice touch when you're having lunch and chili is on the menu. She also guided us through the menu. That's why I would say instead of just having lunch we had a fun experience. It was fascinating watching the kitchen staff prepare the dishes. They were doing an incredible volume but still every plate that left looked great. It is not fancy fine dining. But the food is delicious and it was a great experience!

The kids and I really enjoyed our food here. I had a salad, and Regular size 3 way (spaghetti, chili, cheese), som had 3- chili cheese dogs, daughter had chili cheese fries, other son had the 3 way with their habanero cheese.
It was all great, great price, great service!
I’d high recommend using their hot sauce too!

I visited Cincy for the 1st time and loved Skyline. I highly recommend to 1st timers in Cincy. I will definitely return next time I am in Cincy.

We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and informed to sit wherever we would like. The waitress immediately came over and asked us what would we like. She was very good at her job and was so welcoming to all of her customers. We ordered, I looked out the window and looked back up to engage in conversation and our food was ready. It was literally under just a few and she had also attended to other customers at the same time. I gave her a 50% tip both times I went. It's a great experience.

I lucked out and visited on Opening Day for the Reds, and Skyline was packed. The staff was super-helpful and helped me find a seat and score some chili pretty quickly. I mean, some of their patrons even wore stuffed Skyline hats...
It's easy to see why this is a Cincinnati institution. Unique, local food, customers and employees that already know each other, and everyone is treated with respect and speed, at great prices.
I'm more of a southern chili lover myself, but I've got nothing but respect for this place. Well worth a visit for anyone in downtown Cincinnati.

Glad we found one close to our hotel!!

Awesome food. I believe this to be the original Cincinnati chili and will definitely try to stop again.
One of our group left his umbrella and the waiter chased us down to return it! Very sweet man.

First time in Cincinnati and first time eating Skyline Chili. It is the downtown area, so you will have to look for parking. We found a spot right down the street. Our server was amazing. She answered all the questions we had and even gave us a tip to put hot sauce on the crackers. It was delicious. I got the small spaghetti with chili and it was the perfect size! My husband got the large and it was perfect for him too. They also give you a bib so you don't get chili all over your clothes. Worth checking out.

What is there not to love about Skyline Chili.
The only service issue was that when my server laid down my 4-way plate, it wasn't presented properly. Food is always consistent.

I forgot to post my review when I went. I was in Cincinnati for a conference, and a few people suggested Skyline Chili for lunch. Omg, the chili is so good!! I had the Chili 4-way. The service was excellent. I wish I lived closer because I'd eat there all the time! If you are visiting Cincinnati, make sure you go at least once!

I for sure thought Cincinnati chili wasn't a thing. I scoffed at Skyline chili. I was dead wrong. Go 5-ways, trust me. And dip the crackers in hot sauce. None of the offerings make sense in my head, but they were all incredibly delicious.
