Quiet space in the city to visit with nice variety of plants, big trees, pretty flowers. I have not tried any classes, visited the gift shop. I did find some good inspiration and information regarding gardening, sustainability (green roof, rain barrels, recycling).
We recently catered a wedding reception. Beautiful place to hold an event. Definitely want to visit again in the near future to explore more of the outside.
The Native fall plant festival was amazing! What a great selection! It was our first time at the Civic Garden Center and it was really cool. Can't wait to come back
The Civic Garden Center is a great place that supports responsible stewardship of our natural resources and environment. It’s a beautiful green oasis in the summer and provides a welcoming, wealth of information.
Easy to access. Local wildlife to see. Friendly staff. I've seen chipmunks, all sort of birds and lizards, squirrels and rabits.
What a beautiful hidden gem. Plenty of good information about sustainability and plenty of places to sit and enjoy.
This is a small park with a variety of gardens spread out inside. In the summer time there are a lot of hydrangeas that bloom inside the small Japanese garden. Little gem in the northern part of Cincinnati.
Nice place for weekends visit.
The classes I've come here for have been everything I've wanted as far as educating myself on the environment and how to live more sustainably. Gorgeous botanic garden on the property. The sustainably-designed building next door is also great, I took a class by Sonlight Power on solar panels there. So informative, friendly staff, the Civic Garden Center is an essential part part of Cincinnati.
This is such a beautiful place to be. The vegetable garden is lovely every year, I'm always excited to see what is planted. I love the japanese style garden, its secluded and relaxing. I always make sure to check out the bee box. It would be hard to find a more beautiful garden.
