Review Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Cincinnati

I ordered 8 piece chicken with mac and cheese, green beans, cole slaw and biscuits. WOW!!!!! Everything was incredible. I don't want a biscuit from anywhere else, ever!!! If you have never tried Lee's you're missing out!

I just love me some leaves famous chicken and chicken strips they have their Monday specials on their chicken strips which you get two sides also on Wednesdays you have the chicken that you can get three pieces with two sides yum yum!!! If you don't feel like cooking on a Monday or a Wednesday Lee's Chicken is your best bet you would be satisfied😁

The tea is excellent, and the service is good too! Never got ilto sit and dine in to know about their atmosphere at Lee's.

Drive thru staff did not greet or thank for service. Just looked at me and closed the window. Food was good.

I've been to this Lee's a few times and never had bad food or service. Today I went and was feeling kinda blah. The food was on point and all the staff were very inviting and cheerful and courteous. Keep doing a great job yall!

Great food. Great staff. I never miss the Family night specials on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The chicken, the sides, the biscuits, man everything was phenomenal! The service was great! I ordered 28 pieces of chicken, 5 sides, and 10 biscuits, asked the lady how long she thought and he said give us just a few minutes. I didn't believe it but wow! I had my order in like 5 min! Everything tasted fresh! Only thing I'd suggest I a little but of a remodel inside but it wasn't bad, it was clean just looked a bit old. Actually it looks the exact same in there as it did when I was a kid lol so I guess you can say it ain't changed in over 30yrs. We will definitely be back because we always do and honestly there is NOT a better chicken place in town.

The staff were all so polite, professional and welcoming, despite the place having a drive through line that wrapped around the corner lol. They were still very fast with orders as well as accurate! The food was amazing, it was my daughters first time having Lees’s and it blew her away how good it was! She said screw KFC lol! We’ll definitely be back, with the Monday and Wednesday deals they have, you can’t beat it! Again the staff was amazing especially the woman at the counter! Above and beyond!. Clean dining room too! It’s extremely difficult to get good customer service nowadays, I felt like it was 2002 again ha! Check 333. 12/28/22

Lee's Famous Recipe is indeed a chain, and while I don't prefer in general to review chains, there aren't too many of these left scattered around in greater Cincinnati, and each one sorta kinda feels like it is individually operated, so I tend to think of them in that way.  They certainly don't have a corporate "feel" to them like a KFC or Popeyes does<br/><br/>While I definitely like the fried chicken here, particularly the regular rather than the spicy variety, what I really really like here is the roasted chicken, which has little or no breading and is instead enrobed in a basting of herbs and spices which is to my palate a lot tastier than the fried.  At this location, they tend to run out of roasted early, so get there earlier if you want roasted.  The Wednesday 3-pc special with 2 sides and a biscuit, which has been in place as long as I can remember though the price has of course risen over the years, is always a great deal (currently 4.99)<br/><br/>For my choice of sides, I almost always pick the potato wedges, which are always good though best when you get the thinner cut ones; and either the corn (which can be soggy depending on how long ago they cooked it) or the green beans, which are generally better when you dump the little packet of salt and pepper included with the plastic utensil set you get with a carryout.  I find the mac and cheese to be very bland and mushy, best to avoid.  My wife does like the cole slaw.<br/><br/>I think their biscuit is very good and a bit underrated.   I think they'd do good business if they served breakfast with a fried chicken biscuit, sorta kinda like the one at Chik-Fil-A

Lee's chicken is the best place to go get some good chicken and they coleslaw is off the chain nice place to go in Norwood very clean customerservice is awesome will go back keep up the good work please chicken

Best fried chicken chain. I think Lee's has the best fried chicken. I go to the one in Norwood because it is the closest. The chicken never disappoints like KFC and the sides are as good or better than KFC's.
