Food is good but Restaurant could use Updating!. I suspect that Sorrento's has not changed anything since the day it opened and needs to smell the coffee...I"m sorry, I mean the espresso! Put the entrance out FRONT, have some outdoor seating and let people see IN from Reading Road!. Redecorate, have a new item once a month, try a weekly Craft Beer on draft! The food is hands down better than LaRosa's imitation Italian any day though some prices seem a little high. Make it it a fun place...my 58 year old bud who ate with me was the youngest patron in the place! Just common sense, who needs Robert Irvine? Deano
It doesn't get more "Old School" than this place. The decor of this restaurant is like a time warp, which is good, but the real reason to go is the food. Good prices, a wide ranging menu and awsome service combine for a great time. Watch the paper for coupons!
MY FAVORITE ITALIAN RESTAURANT. I absolutely love Sorrento's. I have been going to Sorrento's with my grandma since I Was a little girl. I absolutely love their sauce, it is the best, they should bottle it and sell it. Their eggplant parmesean is the best in the city. Their prices are reasonable so you won't break the bank if you take your family to eat here. I love the piano bar it creates such a quaint/romantic ambience. They could update the inside just a little bit as it is the EXACT same as when I was a little kid.
Hidden gem, went later in the evening about 830pm. They serve food til 10pm. It's definitely an older clientele, the music was very nice. The horns and jazz definitely brought the old school feels. Kind of felt like you step back in time. Going to have to try on a Friday or Saturday the piano bar is supposedly very nice

Awesome new chef, new bartender, great waitress and fabulous food. Come down and see for yourself. It is finally the old Sorrento's happening again!
I used to visit hear as a kid with my parents/grandparents. On our most recent visit, the food was good and the help very friendly. Restaurant still has the feel of stepping back in time which I like. A nice change from the commercial food factories on every corner these days. I buy a Mason Jar of their house salad dressing to go whenever I visit. The veal cutlet Parmesan is delicious. The piano entertainment & singer on some nights another plus.
Scott the bartender was very friendly and attentive. He kept the drinks full and made great recommendations. The ribs were really good. Definitely would go back.
Sorrento's Restaurant & Lounge does still look like it did 30 years ago. And the food is still old fashioned simple Italian and American dishes. And yes, the Filet Mignons are still melt in your mouth good. And yes, they still have live music at their famous Piano Bar 7 6 nights a week. They still have old fashioned Shrimp Cocktail, and the Antipasto is really more of a meal. Try it for 2.
Oh Yes, and their Barbecue Bacy Back Ribs are still fall off the bone tender and delicious. And how many places can you still find Veal Cutlet Scallopini in Wine Sauce?
They have recently added grilled Salmon to the menu. Yumm. Oh yes, and they brought back their pizza by popular demand.
The seating is old fashioned in different areas, not one gigantic room You can feel comfortable or intimate if you desire.
If you need a room for a large party, their Party Room holds up to 100 at no extra charge,
Try them out for the first time, or again, if it has been awhile. You will want to come back.
Great food ribs were Fall off bone tender. Superb Italian salad. Whole meal was to die for. Scott was an excellent waiter. Thanks Sorrento's.
Very delicious food. Wonderful piano music and our server Misty was excellent! Great dinner with my husband and mother.
Sorrento's has hired a new chef and with the new Chef there will be new ideas and new food on the menu it's just going to take a little time but it's going to be well worth the wait come on in and see for yourself you will be surprised
Great place with friendly people. If you want some great entertainment Monday is the time th o b et there for live music. Check it out.
