The people at the supermarket are great but the tamales out front are even better!

Great little Mexican Market. They have a full butcher counter in the very back room and the prices there are great. Some of the beef cuts may seem weird to Americans but they are apparently typical for Mexican / South American recipes. Prices are good. Would definitely stop in here for the meats

Huge portions of seemingly authentic(I don't know it's authentic; I've never been to Mexico.) very tasty food. The chicken fajitas were made with good cuts of white meat and the spice was different from other fajitas I've had and quite delicious. The burrito I had was made with the most delectable shredded chicken which was tender and juicy. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere and staff. We were happily surprised and will go back. Don't be afraid of the lack of parking lot, there's plenty of street parking nearby.

For a little location this Bodega has a lot to offer from coca cola (Spanish cokes have real suger and not high fructose corn syrup) the cheese and spices for our street 🌽 Staff was helpful....

This is an excellent market for all of your Hispanic cooking needs. They have plenty of canned goods, salsas, and hot sauces. In the back there is also a wall of dried chilis and spices, produce (great fresh cilantro and avocados as well as any cheese you need) and a butcher counter. Staff has always been super helpful with tips or helping me find something that I need. Go next door to the restaurant and you will not be disappointed!!

This was a great place. It was a little scary/intimidating at first arrival on a dark Saturday night, but all was good. The wait staff was nice and food was very much close to the authentic mexican cuisine. It was medium priced $3.00 a taco. Not a place you would go to impress your date. (unless your date is into authentic mexican ;-)

Small little crusty. But, De polo fajitas worth it. Cash preferred but credit over 5 bucks no problem. Authentic.

I like the place. Maybe having an aisle for American foods would definitely attract more business. And they are friendly. Check out the restaurant next door. Best in the area.

Everyone is very friendly. Huge variety of produce and meats. I especially go here for spices. Because there is a large wall of nothing but awesome spices! They also have authentic street foods they sell. Check them out.

Fantastic, real Mex food, very hospitable staff. My autentico. And not a rip-off hipster faux Mexican place like the Milleniums and Gen-Xers think of as genuine food.

El Valle Verde in Vine St. has a market that sales a wide variety of yummy Hispanic products, good meat, the best mangos I have eaten in Cincinnati Amon so many other items. Aside the market is El Valle Verde restaurant where you can delight yourself with authentic Mexican-Centroamerican food at very reasonable prices. For both places, customer service makes you feel welcome and invites you to come back. I am giving four stars because of lack of own parking lot. Hard to find an available parking spot off street.

Good place to find latin american groceries. Decent prices and clean enough looking. Don’t ask questions if you don’t speak spanish.

Pretty good.. This place has a "Chapin plate" which is a Guatemalan plate. My boyfriend is from Guatemala and he loves this dish, its what he gets every time. This place is hit or miss, some things are AWESOME, like the tortas and Chapin Plate, but the carne asada and bistek mexicana is sort of gross. The rice usually lacks in flavor, the refried pinto beans are pretty flavorless. If you get beans, get the black beans- they are good. This is probably one of the only places that makes their own tortillas. You'll normally only see hispanics in here- which to me is usually a good sign. Place is pretty good- not too over priced. Although make sure they charge you properly, they've been known to overcharge us occasionall. Also, with beverages like pop or jarritos its charged per bottle, so it can get pricey. If you want a good Guatemalan plate or an awesome torta- go here. Otherwise, you can do better.

Excellent Authentic Mexican. Great place for some authentic Mexican food and a beer. Just as good of food as some of the better know taquerias in town, but not as well known to the gringos, probably due to the neighborhood. Give it a try.

...we were the only folks there who were not Latino. That is a sign that you have hit on a good, authentic restaurant when the type of food and the ethnicity of the diners could be the same. I do not know what actual Mexican food is because I have never been Mexico. I have been to New Mexico and the flavors of this restaurant reminded me more of New Mexico than some chain Mexican restaurants do. They als
