The Arepa Place - Cincinnati - Photo album

Stopped here on my way to Cleveland and again on the way back to TN; it was delicious!! I liked that there were outdoor tables across the street at the market because the inside of the place was small and also had a weird smell. There were a few boxes of mixes along the wall that you could take home
Don't short yourself, go with, "The great arepa." You must believe in yourself and order an empanda too. The apple soda is the best way to wash it all down.
Really good empanadas at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly enough, and the seating in the resturant is not ideal. It's a very narrow place, so you're stepping over people eating. The food was very good though, I'd just recommend takeout.
Always love their food. Recommend the guacamole with plantain chips and the chicken or beef empanadas with Aji Columbiano salsa. I'm GF so this place rocks! Been to both locations and they are consistently great.
Fabulous food! We had several ages and tastes and everyone loved every item we ate! All gluten free and so so good you would never guess it! Juices are refreshing and not fake nor syrup tasting… just fresh goodness from start to finish! Cannot wait to be back and eat more! People were so friend
Very enjoyable food in a small, modern space near Findlay Market. Often busy so we recommend you order in advance. We have eaten here several times and the food is always great. The service is friendly.
Authentic delicious corn shell empanadas and wonderfully flavored dipping sauces. Hard to find the corn shell variety and these are the bomb. Not much seating but they warm up well in the toaster oven
First time here and wow! Two YUMS waaaaay up! This is authentic Colombian cuisine. The small restaurant is bright, fun and inviting- conveniently located at Findlay Market next to Eli’s bbq. We had the beef and chicken arepa with verse and aji salsas. We added fried plantains and guac. We added th
I have been meaning to stop by the Arepa Place while in Cincy. I am usually in the city for an event or to meet up with someone and then I am gone. When buying comic books, I walk by here often. This past weekend, I went to pick up my son from UC and we decided to eat there. I do not regret the dec
It was my first time having Colombian food and it was great. Nice little restaurant in a great area. Will definitely be back.
Support small local businesses! Great place for fresh cooked food. The arepas and empanadas are amazing. All gluten-free menu. A few items to shop for fresh ingredients to take home. Worth stopping in while visiting Findlay Market.
By far some of the best food I have tried in a long time!! The Arepas are huge and are stuffed completely full! I recommend the loaded arepa but all of them are fantastic! The salsas they have are very very tasty but not overly spicy which was nice.
I’m Puerto Rican and from NJ/NY, my fiancé is Colombian, these are hands down the best arepas we have ever had AND empanadas. They have a corn flour which accommodated my gluten allergy. Amazing.
It’s a really good to go restaurant with a simple menu. Food is delicious for the price and always fresh. The guacamole and sauces are all amazing too.
I was so excited to finally be able to get a fresh arepa around here. Located in Findlay Market, this place is easy to go in and grab some food. It was relatively busy when I came so I waited about 15 minutes for my food, but it was worth it because it was good. We got cheese arepas for the kids and
Exceeds Expectations. Great food, atmosphere and kind staff. Highly recommend for lunch
Stopped by for lunch. Service was friendly and quick, especially with every seat filled inside. I ordered to go and had my food in about 5 minutes. Chorizo and chicken were great. Only thing holding me back from 5 stars was the arepa pocket being very bland. Texture was great, but it could have used
I love Arepas and these are some of the best I’ve had. The staff was so nice, service was quick. My beef and cheese arepa was insanely good, the meat was so flavorful and juicy. The salsa verde was perfect and the portions are generous
LOVE this place! We tried the great arepa (arepona) with the salsa verde and it was amazing! I can’t get over the salsa. Also, tried the fried sweet plantains. It’s the perfect something sweet to enjoy after the arepa.
