Stopped here on my way to Cleveland and again on the way back to TN; it was delicious!! I liked that there were outdoor tables across the street at the market because the inside of the place was small and also had a weird smell. There were a few boxes of mixes along the wall that you could take home and make in addition to food for purchase. I would absolutely go again.
Don't short yourself, go with, "The great arepa." You must believe in yourself and order an empanda too. The apple soda is the best way to wash it all down.
Really good empanadas at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly enough, and the seating in the resturant is not ideal. It's a very narrow place, so you're stepping over people eating. The food was very good though, I'd just recommend takeout.
Always love their food. Recommend the guacamole with plantain chips and the chicken or beef empanadas with Aji Columbiano salsa. I'm GF so this place rocks! Been to both locations and they are consistently great.

Fabulous food! We had several ages and tastes and everyone loved every item we ate! All gluten free and so so good you would never guess it! Juices are refreshing and not fake nor syrup tasting… just fresh goodness from start to finish! Cannot wait to be back and eat more! People were so friendly and it was clean and a fun atmosphere too! Highly recommend!
Very enjoyable food in a small, modern space near Findlay Market. Often busy so we recommend you order in advance. We have eaten here several times and the food is always great. The service is friendly.
Authentic delicious corn shell empanadas and wonderfully flavored dipping sauces. Hard to find the corn shell variety and these are the bomb. Not much seating but they warm up well in the toaster oven
First time here and wow! Two YUMS waaaaay up! This is authentic Colombian cuisine.
The small restaurant is bright, fun and inviting- conveniently located at Findlay Market next to Eli’s bbq.
We had the beef and chicken arepa with verse and aji salsas. We added fried plantains and guac. We added the sweet plantains on the side (instead of in the arepa). Glad we did because we aren’t used to mushy sweet plantains inside a “wrap.”
We loved it all! And we’ll be back. Besides a very skimpy guac, everything was perfect. The chicken and cheese arepa was probably the favorite of the two. VERY much drippy and messy but a great taste. We added verde, aji and guac with each bite. The sauces really make it nice.
When we got there, we noticed the many other items (drinks and food) in the refrigerators on the side. Fantastic, authentic selections.
We will be back a LOT!
I have been meaning to stop by the Arepa Place while in Cincy. I am usually in the city for an event or to meet up with someone and then I am gone.
When buying comic books, I walk by here often. This past weekend, I went to pick up my son from UC and we decided to eat there. I do not regret the decision.
The food was fresh and it wasn't as long as I thought it would take (good food equals a long wait time - and well worth the wait). The place is small but big enough for people to sit down and eat.
I noticed they also sold items I consumed as a kid in NYC. So I went ahead and copped a few items (cream of coconut for my coquito!).
I will definitely return here with the family.
It was my first time having Colombian food and it was great. Nice little restaurant in a great area. Will definitely be back.
