I'm still getting to know all the restaurants in this neck of the woods but I'd driven by Mac's Pizza Pub on Wooster Pike many times and thought it would be a good stop for my occasional Friday night dinner at U-Haul. . I placed a to-go order on my way out of work and stopped to pick it up. They have a couple of parking spots right in front and a larger lot in the back. Once inside, they have quite a few seating areas and a row of hot sauces above their weekly specials.
We went to Mac's Pizza last week. We received great service and our server was very friendly. She answered all of our questions-we had a lot. Their happy hour pricing was pretty good. They had craft beers for $4 all night long. The pizza was really good. There was plenty of cheese and toppings. We split a large pizza and each got different toppings. The bbq chicken was really good, but I should have ordered a pizza with their pizza sauce. It was one of the better pizza sauces I have ever had. It was thick and flavorful. That pizza had to be at least an inch thick with all those high quality toppings on it. The crust was special too.
Mac's has a nice outdoor patio, plenty of parking, and good service.
Great place to have a few beers and good food. Service is good most of time. Love their jumbo wings!!!!!
Not bad. I'm personally glad to have this pub opened in Fairfax. Been there several times now. Pizza is very good - fresh home made crust & sauce w/ ample cheese - at a decent price. They have over 100 beers which is nice. Seems to be overpriced and hard to choose best bang for buck. The atmosphere is pretty much the same as before (Wooster tavern) but with e nice big screen tv.
With an excellent selection of beer, great quality pizza, and TV’s on every corner, I think we may have found a new favorite spot.
Friendly staff and great food! Hot Italian sub was 🔥, Saratoga chips are exactly what you want them to be, and the cheese roll appetizer is way better than it has any right to be. Prices were super reasonable all around, including liquor + beer prices. Double Jameson for $9.50 is a steal.
The only thing I miss from the other locations is a dedicated drink menu (…and the curry hot wings but there’s plenty of other great food options here)
Not likely to qualify in a 'best' restaurant category, but very likely to become your 'favorite' restaurant. Friendly staff, good selection of comfort bar/grill food and beer on tap. Eat on the deck if it's warm.
Large menu with lots of options. We started with the cheesy garlic roll and fried pickles. Both were really good. We also ordered 2 pizzas- the Flying Pig and the Hawaiian Heaven. Of the 2, we preferred the Hawaiian but both tasted mainly like bacon. I like bacon, but it was really overpowering. Other than that, everything was good, including our service, and we would return.
Fun local joint. Very towny bar feel. Excellent burgers. Asked for medium rare and they nailed it. The waffle fries are crisp and delicious. Their waffle fries are what I wish you would get at chic filet. Crisp outside while soft inside. Perfection!
The Mac snack individual pizza is amazing, delicious, OMG. I'm in love...
The macover - I don't think mine was made right.super thick breaded on bottom, very thin bread layer on top...not that great, but I'll give it one more try...
Great little dive bar!!! Wings, pizza, fries are all outstanding!!! Also… it may be a small thing… but they have the COLDEST draft beer taps ever!!! Highly recommend this place!!!
This was our first time. We hiked Avacoa Park and wanted to sit on a patio and eat good pizza. Anna took excellent care of us. She was patient with our complicated order and hooked us up with exactly what we wanted!
My chef's salad was great! It was enough for three meals, too.

I love this place. Great drink selection. Absolutely love their pizza. Wife has had a burger and definitely recommends it. Parking is odd. But it's worth dealing with.
