Good customer service and the food is always delicious. I stop in maybe once or so every two weeks for a Reuben or a chicken salad sandwich. They have the best potatoes salad! I bring it for parties to share- it’s so yummy.

Great location. Gina is the best. Try their Black Bean soup, but ask for sour cream and onions to top it off. If they aren't serving BB soup, then definitely get their Sweet & Sour Cabbage, which is fantastic. And of course, you have to get their potato pancake and order a side of applesauce to dollop on top of the pancake. Yummy!

Great place. Fantastic food, friendly staff. Beats any of the other sandwich shops in town. Would highly recommend. Only problem is that once you have an Izzy's potato pancake, nothing else will do.

The food as with most Izzy's locations is great, but the staff here is what really set this place apart from anywhere else for me. They were very friendly, bringing a homely atmosphere right to my table. On top of that, they didn't hesitate to assist handicapped guests, helping them with their walkers, and even walking them out. Whenever I'm in the area again, this will probably be my go-to restaurant.

We had two Reuben sandwiches for carryout and they were both delicious. Their famous potato pancakes are to die for and one comes with each sandwich. You cannot go wrong at this place!

I don't like the food here as much as I use before they updated their menus, but it's still tasty, and I give them 5 stars for their service if nothing else. The staff is very friendly, and they worked with me to recreate one of their old menu items that they no longer sell. Of course it cost more to do this way, but I was so impressed that they even accommodated the request, and the waitress was even nice enough to consult with the manager to make sure she rang it up in a way to get me the lowest price. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Wow! The corned beef! The pickles! The potato pancake! The cabbage soup! What a delicious meal! This was my first visit and I will absolutely be eating there again :) They're closed on Sundays and I'm fine with that!

If you ask for your potato pancake crispy, they'll make you a fresh one. Or if you even ask for a fresh one, they'll make one. They're that eager to please.
As a lot of the food is prepared in store, they take a perverse kind of pride in the precieved joy of their costumers.
Although if you come in right before closing you'll bare witness to looks of rage filled with unfathomable loathing, capable of melting the sanity of all but the bravest men and women.

Always the greatest waitress of all time. She is always friendly as can be and even though we only get there once or twice a year, it always seems like she remembers us and our usual orders. Great food as well.

Besides corned beef or pastrami sandwiches, they also have a terrific beef sandwich called the Tommy which is one of my absolute favorites. They also have a terrific fried fish sandwich call the codfather which I highly recommend. There is a turkey sandwich on the menu that includes cream cheese and cranberry relish that is quite tasty as well. If you are into dill pickles, they have the best dill pickles in town, and they will bring you an entire bowl full of them if you eat in. You can also buy a jar of them while you're there. The place is clean, the service is excellent, and a few of the locations even have drive-thrus.

Love Izzy's Reuben's and Potato Cakes. This is the closest to my house. I live in Goshen but it's worth the drive. Had to make a special trip there for St. Paddy's Day. Great customer service. And great food. They have the best Potato Cakes in town.

Izzy's is one of those pure Cincinnati restaurants. It is a good place to eat and the meal is reasonable priced. Note you must like corned beef because virtually all the sandwiches have this on it. Still the potato pancakes here are amazing.

The woman who waited on us was very kind, patient, clean and thorough. She was screamed at by another customer who quite honestly was mentally unstable yet even so, she just stood there, apologized and took ownership for whatever it was the customer thought she did wrong. Not only did she NOT doing anything wrong, she's worked there for years! It was embarrassing seeing someone acting so unstable but she took it well. We just wanted to say we appreciate all the people that work there - especially the waitress !

Disappointed. I usually just get a corned beef & swiss, but wanted to try something new. I got a 3 meat combo with corned beef, roast beef and pastrami.. for $10 I was expecting a sandwich that I would struggle eating. I got a sandwich that would be laughed at in most delis.. And really, how much for a potato pancake?

DO NOT EAT HERE!. Waxed a bit nostalgic on my return to Cinti with my wife. Used to eat at the original Izzy's downtown when we were kids. Looking forward to a real deli meal, to say we were disappointed was an understatement. Menu offered nothing but a selection of cheap lunch meat. We should have walked out. Our food was sloppy, lousy tasting, and poorly handled. The restaurant was filthy. A subsequent check on the board of health showed numerous violations. I hope the owner of this chain heeds their warnings. Izzy Kadet must be rolling over in his grave.

While the Reuben certainly stands up to any I’ve had—the Joe Walter Combo was my favorite of the two sandwiches. The husband has a knack for quickly sifting through a menu and striking gold!
