Came in around 5pm on a Tuesday and it was empty. Sat at the bar. Comfortable chairs. Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere is colorful and bright and they play traditional Mexican music. They had a special for a bottle of Pacifico for $2.50. I also got a burrito plate for $13. Chips were warm and salsa wasn't too cold. Good experience, I'd come back.

This is a solid "above average" Mexican restaurant and certainly the best one I've been to around the UC campus. Portions sizes are huge and margs are above average. If you're in the area and want to eat, one of the better choices out there, but don't go out expecting to "experience" Mexican cuisine
Love this place! The queso fundido and nachos carbon are amazing!! However, order the queso fundido at your own risk as they have gotten very skimpy with this dish over the last couple of years. 3 years ago this would have been full like the nachos carbon! Still tastes great but it's only like 8 bites the last few times I've ordered... Just compare the pics of the nachos carbon and the queso fundido. Love this place but come on! Por favor mas queso fundido 🙏
The food was so good and the margaritas were strong! They were very friendly and our food came promptly. The prices are good as well. I can’t wait to go back. This is definitely a new go to spot for me for Mexican food.
Today was my first time eating here. Got lunch from there. Called in and ordered it. They told me it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Got there in six minutes and it was already ready to go. I got the la crate burritos with chips and salsa. It was really good. Burritos were super thick. All in all it was good food, a good price(cost me $10 and some change). I will be back.
Encantador Mexicano restaurant-a little piece of Mexico on Ludlow. Quaint and inviting. Booths and table seating available. Bar area that serves alcoholic drinks. For those who enjoy watching television while indulging in their favorite entree will be happy to know that option is available. Public restrooms available to paying customers. Parking is Blah! You can park on nearby streets, metered parking during certain times, and a small parking lot close by. Bus 17 runs through here. One thing to keep in mind is that your entire party has to arrive together in order to be seated together. What you must be wondering the most about is the quality of food. The food was good, delicious maybe. Massive servings. You'll love it.
