Review Tickle Pickle Northside - Cincinnati

Music themed hamburger spot! I had the Hammstein, and my husband had the Meatallica. Both burgers were fantastic! Fries are seasoned like Rally's. Indoor and outdoor seating available, but both are limited. Parking is on the street. We had no problems finding a spot on a Saturday afternoon.

After the zoo, wanted to get some lunch and ended up here. So happy we did! All of the dishes are named after musicians. Order at the counter and food will be brought to you table. Decor and atmosphere was great (I’m Gen-X, so it was nostalgic). The burgers were great! I had the Pearl Jam with black bean burger, the flavors of the goat cheese, jalapeño tomato jam and the carmelized onions were awesome. I wish more people did goat cheese on burgers. The fries were tasty too. Staff was all super friendly and the pricing was super reasonable. They have indoor seating and a patio with a couple tables. I def recommend.

This place has a great vibe! Great vegetarian and vegan options. The burgers are delicious, and the fries are awesome. The side salads and mac and cheese are also great. Haven’t tried the shakes yet. Will def go back!

The combination of top-notch ingredients, skillful preparation, and genuine love for the craft results in a burger that defines what true goodness tastes like. If you're a burger enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates well-crafted food, do yourself a favor and visit Tickle Pickle.

If you're a fan of mouthwatering burgers and delicious milkshakes, then Tickle Pickle is definitely worth the trip. We recently visited this restaurant and were blown away by the quality of the food. The hamburgers were simply incredible. Each bite was bursting with flavor and the meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. But what really stood out was the milkshake. It was simply out of this world. Creamy, rich and packed with flavor, the milkshake was perfectly thick and smooth. The peanut butter Oreo shake was one of the best shakes ever. Overall, Tickle Pickle is a must-visit for burger and milkshake lovers. The food is outstanding, and its well worth whatever distance you have to travel to get there. We'll absolutely be going back for more!

My sister and I took her granddaughter and my great-niece to the tickle pickle before going to see the Fiona play at The ensemble. My great-niece is recently a vegetarian so she enjoyed the cheese Coney as well as I did and my sister's granddaughter and her both enjoyed a burger. It's a very eclectic menu and everyone can always be happy at the tickle you can turn any Burger into a vegan or vegetarian and I forgot to mention the delicious shakes and alcoholic beverages.

Enjoyed my mushroom-swiss burger, but they never asked how I wanted it cooked. I like thick burgers medium-rare and mine (and my wife's) was more well-done. Very fresh and local ingredients with interesting options. Seasoned fries were nice and crispy. I don't mind paying a little more for quality and that's what you get here

As my company said, “this food saved my life.” We had a late meal after not eating all day and at first pass of the place we saw it was packed. We came back to it and luckily got some burgers, fries and mac n cheese (also beers). Great place! Good food!

My family and I stopped in for a bite because we never go to chain restaurants when we travel. This is definitely top 5 on our list of restaurants. The atmosphere and music was awesome. Burgers were perfectly cooked. And the names of each of the menu items made it so fun. Cannot wait to make another trip back down here. Make sure to ask about merch so you can support this great local business.

Have wanted to come here for a long time. I was not disappointed! Love the clever names for all the dishes. I got the Grateful Shred pulled pork sandwich, it was amazing. My husband and daughter got burgers and they were great, too. I love that they shop local for ingredients and Grippos chips are the go to side. The shakes were good too, just a little thinner than I prefer. Overall great experience and I will return to try the Linkin Pork!

This is a cute little burger spot in North Side. I've never been to this little area, but I had a great time exploring it today is this beautiful 60* day! We stopped in for some food out walking and touring the area. I had an amazing Grilled chocked creaser salad (The free bird), it was absolutely spectacular. My friend ordered the Pearl Jam and said it's most definitely a signature, unforgettable burger. They played awesome music, have a patio in the back, clean single restrooms and cozy little dine-in area that you can hang out and spend time having good conversation, with awesome music and delicious food..

Fun hole in the wall place. The burger and fries I had were great. Very reasonable prices. The service was super friendly and fast. And they had some great tunes playing the whole time. Overall great experience

Good burgers with unique flavors and toppings. They have seasoned fries now which are really good. Causal vibe. Order at the front counter and they will bring your food out to you. Nice local beer tap offerings. A milkshake sounded good too. The outdoor dining was nice too.

Cool little restaurant. Loved the rock group themes. Located in north side Cincinnati, parking not the best but the food was tasty. We had the bread zeppelin and Red Hot Chili Peppers with the goodie brothers milkshake for a tasty treat

Found this gem thanks to Google map reviews and I was not disappointed. I gravitated to the hottest item on the menu...good bite, but it could have been hotter. That aside, the burger was awesomely flavorful. Will be back with more people. The atmosphere is top notch too!

2 April 6th - Tickle Pickle, Northside, Cincinnati 5pm April 6,2017 Total bill - $17.00 Debbie's review Initial impression - small eatery, with a hip vibe. Tickle Pickle recently opened in the Northside, just a couple blocks down the street from Blue Jay Restaurant. Service - you place your order at the counter and when your burger is ready they bring it to you. Ray waited On us at the counter and was friendly and helpful explaining some of the burger selections. Food - I ordered the Bread Zeppelin burger, the standard single cheese burger w/ lettuce, onion, tomato, Pickle and ketchup and mayo. The hamburger was tasty, had a charred flavor and was cook medium (slightly pink center) the bun was a non gmo bread and was lightly toasted and brushed with a touch of butter - really nice. The toppings added to the goodness of the sandwich- and the size wasn't huge, but a good size burger. Tickle Pickle doesn't offer fries or onion rings - they do have a variety of sides, salad, potato salad, sweet potato salad - & each burger comes with a small portion of house made cole slaw - a nice side. Drink - a variety of coke products are offered as well canned local brews. Tickle Pickle also makes shakes, we didn't have one - but the word is those are pretty tasty! Ray was whipping up the shake of the week - a nod to Easter, a Robyn egg shell blue color - shake made from Easter candy malted milk candy coated eggs - And vanilla ice cream - Ray brought us over a sample for us to try, we both agreed the shake was like a birthday cake taste with crunch of the bits of malted milk candies. Over all a pleasurable experience - I give Tickle Pickle ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/4 ____________________________________ Steve's review Tickle Pickle Bread Zeppelin burger. Basic cheese burger with potato salad and slaw. Ambience and Service Old time storefront with rock and roll themed table tops and good music. Walk up ordering then food brought to table. Bun was lightly toasted and average in flavor. Burger cooked to medium. Very flavorful and seared. Locally sourced beef. Fixins were as fresh as could be for time of year. Cheese medium thickness and added great flavor. Potato salad and slaw good. Local beer available. Timely service. We were asked to taste new milkshake (malted milk Easter egg). Overall, very good burger experiences. Would go back to try others including "When Buns Cry" (Prince) or Buns and Roses. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars And one added bonus. Robert Redford is filming part of his new film at Blue Jay down the street. We saw the Hollywood star as we were driving past.

Loved the vegan and gluten free options. Black bean burger with gluten free bun was delicious! I just would recommend having a gluten free adult beverage option, like a cider? Was a 30 minutes drive from our house, but will definitely be back!

The place is very cool, and the staff was really nice... but the food just plain sucked. My burger was nearly raw, and my partner's was just bad. They obviously had pre-browned the meat and were just heating it up to order. The 'spicy' slaw was essentially raw cabbage with no flavor, and the mac and cheese was one big glob. I wish I had liked it, but honestly it was just bad.

Solid beer selection and the burger I had was delicious. I was in for the $5 burger week, but I'll be back again. Mac and cheese was very good too. Service on point. Liked the vibe here as well. Don't pass up a chance to eat here.

Ladies and gents-Northside has a winner! Great atmosphere, friendly service, tasty food (my Red Hot Chili Pepper burger lived up to its name and then some. Green peppers and onions, banana peppers, gooey pepper jack cheese and a goat chesse-filled jalapeno that was longer than the bun!) The James Brownie shake was incredible-cant wait to try the Oreo Speedwagon next visit! Quite possibly the best burger and shake to pass my lips on the way to my hips!

New new age atmosphere, good food, counter service. Located in Northside. I visited for Burger Week, my friend didn't care for the burger much as it had some pink in it, but I liked mine (rare) and ate hers too. Pretty traditional presentation, wrapped and served in a basket, with chips on the side. Ketchup and cheese on the burger. I ordered BBQ flavored chips, but the regular chips were better, and there was no shortage of them or anything else. I'd suggest leaving room for a pickle on a stick as well !

Wow. Just incredible. We split a Bread Zepplin(classic burger) and added house tartar. One of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Extremely fresh, and cooked to perfection. The bun definitely tied the whole thing together. Also got the oreo milkshake which was nothing short of phenomenal. Will definitely be back to try the Red Hot Chili Pepper burger and probably everything else on the menu. Great job guys!

Came up from Florida to visit family for a week. Mom and I decided to visit our old neighborhood and house in Northside and we were hungry so thanks to Groupon we decided to stop here for some burgers and we were not disappointment. The service and staff were great and the food was to die for. I got the Grateful Shred with the mac and cheese and my mom for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the sweet potatoes which was equally amazing. Loved the creativity of all the menu item names. We loved the atmosphere and all of the decorations and 70's and 80's rock music reminded me of my childhood. All in all it was a great experience and will be highly recommending this place to everyone.

Phenomenal food. I love the pun names on the menu! Employees were hella friendly. One of my best dining experiences in Cincinnati.

We each got a different burger so we could try two ---they ROCKED it, pun intended! Cooked perfect, flavorful, fresh bun...Delicious! The place is groovy (taking a word from the great worker who waited on us) and we'll definitely drive back over to eat here again!

We are here for the first time on Saturday and really enjoyed our experience. The guy working the counter was friendly and quick to greet us. He was funny and engaging throughout our meal so that was cool. We loved the names of the items and the over all atmosphere. Our only complaint was that our cheese wasn't melted on the burgers but that'd not a huge deal. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town!

Great food, great service!! Locally sourced ingredients with a fun atmosphere. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had.

WOW!!!! I had a Buns and Roses and added cashew cheese. The patty is delicious, this is one of the tastiest vegan burgers I’ve had. The cheese is sooooooooo good. And I’m not a ketchup fan at all I but I decided to try the spicy and it adds the perfect touch. I also got a Vegan Peach Boys Shake. Amazing. I can’t wait to come back.

Black Sabbath is my fave!! And the bean burger has toNs more flavor!!
