City View Tavern is a simple, no nonsense dive bar with a priceless view of downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Genuine bartender with short, honest answers that runs this place his way. The inside likely has not changed in decades. Park on the street or get a ride here. No parking lot. Put your favorite song on for $2. The outside seating area is not big, but we were able to quickly find a table on a Saturday night.

Love a burger at City View! A great spot with a great view of the city. I most recently had the Cheddar Bacon Burger with A-1 Sauce and it was delicious! š ** Pic is of the burger with lettuce, pickle, onion and mayo from a previous visit which was also yummy**

The view, of course! I think this rating was based partially on nostalgia, too. My husband worked here in college (in the 90s!) & I loved coming here to celebrate the Reds & Bengals. Iād argue the burgers are still the best in town. It was pleasantly crowded, not packed; easy to place/get our order. Bathroom is still terrible :)

The burgers were delicious and obviously real. Cooked to rhe best perfection. The bartender, who also functions as the cook, was very nice. The views of Downtown and NkY were amszing.

Delicious burgers and amazing view!! You can not get a burger this good anywhere for what they charge. It was very quiet when I came in but honestly I enjoyed it, it was relaxing. I see some people have had some negative things to say about some staff, but Silas was the only one working when I was there and he was very nice. I will definitely be back to try other burgers. Great meal and view for under $10.

This is a mom-n-pop bar and restaurant, where you prefer at the bar and take it to your table. Simple, laid-back, no extra flares. Burgers are decent and made to order, they also have vegetarian options. Environment is cozy. The view of the city from the back deck it's what draws me to this place more than anything.

Great place. Only reason service was rated a 3 was because they only had 1 guy doing it all. He seemed stressed. Not super friendly either but that might be because of the workload. I'd try the place again in hopes of better service and becsuse there is a great view, as the name implies, of the city.

Mount Adams is an idyllic place and City View is a place that we have looked forward to visiting for over 25 years now. The bar/dining room are old school just like the regulars. The view is spectacular but the way we are treated there is just as stellar! The burger is a must:
big, fresh, juicy, and delicious! Say hi to the owner.....he will make you feel so welcome!

Best burger hands down I have ever had in my life, thatās not a joke legit the best BURGER ever! Mike the bartender and the crew were amazing and so welcoming! What a hidden gem! Anytime I get the chance to come visit cincy again this is my go to spot!

The view is stunning! The menu is pretty cool too! While checking out the menu online I saw that they had a peanut butter and bacon burger and was immediately intrigued. I would have never thought to combine those ingredients on a burger but "WOW!" I've been raving about it ever since. Staff was warm and welcoming and again that view!!

Got there right when it opened. The bartender was kind and inviting. The burgers were great and the view is perfect! Absolutely perfect! A perfect place to see the full city with great beer selections and they even had a non meat option for your burger for those who donāt want a beef patty! Would recommend for sure!
