First Watch

I've been to several First Watch Locations. This was my 1st time at the Rookwood restaurant. As typical with most First Watch Locations, it was busy. However, we were able to get seated without much of a wait. Our server was training a new server and it slowed service down a bit. It was still good, but you could tell she was off her A game. I had one of the seasonal specials, the Sunny Seoul Hash. It had kimchi and Korean style sauce with shaved pork. It was good, but wasn't fantastic. UPDATE: I had the leftover Hash tonight and it was much better. The flavors really came together nicely. I would get it again. My friend loved the Bacado omelet which is my normal go to. The parking lot is a little chaotic and the atmosphere felt a little bit chaotic as well. Overall, it was still a good visit.

The hostess that sat Me was nice pleasant and observing, I don't remember her name, a slim Hispanic lady, thank you. And My server Shayla was also pleasant and attentive, thank you Shayla. I eat here quite often and this particular watch has a nice team. Food was great, I had the Floridian French Toast, turkey sausage and scrambled eggs with cheese, yum yum eat'm up ha haha.. washed down with the citrus punch. Aaaahh.. thanks folks..

This was the first time I was ever at one of these. The hash was fantastic and my wife loved the strawberry French toast! It was very busy so make sure you look for their check in online. Something I found out about. Even without that we only waited 30 minutes on a Sunday at noon. The only thing is that our waitress didn't seem like she really cared all that much. I had to ask for drink refills and she rolled her eyes at us and again when we asked for a couple of boxes. Look, if you don't want to deal with the public, being in the food industry may not be for you 😉. Even with that, I would return without hesitation as should you .
