Years ago we ate here and I thought it the best service in town. I’ve wanted to come back but it’s pricey so we haven’t. We decided to come for our anniversary. Such top tier service. Amazing food. The chef came by three times. They comped our dessert. Matt did a great job as server. Stacy gave us great suggestions. Couldn’t be happier.
Better than other 5-star restaurants in the greater Cincinnati region. Director CT did table visit, so did Manager Ben. Our server Sophie was what every restaurateur would wish for, from menu knowledge, positive energy and genuine hospitality! As a fellow Leader in this same industry, mega kudos to this restaurant! Josh Brenner and Adam Reed are exemplary Chefs.
Came here for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. The food was exceptional as always, especially their famous bread basket. My boyfriend had the gnocchi and I had a special-cauliflower steak with pearl shaped pasta and olives. The best thing we tried was the cannoli dessert with pistachios. Their drinks were great and they made a special menu for us. My only reason for 4 stars on the service was the server seemed very inexperienced and couldn't answer questions about menu items. She also high fived me over my plate, which was an odd call for a fine dining restaurant. I had also given my credit card ahead of time so my boyfriend wouldn't try to pay, and the server still brought the check and set it in front of him. I was joking for her to just run my card and leave it on the table for me to tip. Overall a great experience.

Recommendation: Everything on menu but you must try the grilled octopus. Very rare to find grilled octopus so juicy! And since it’s an Italian restaurant you know you have to get some dessert.
Monday special bolognese night is the best pasta deal in town. Delicious salad and bread basket. Great seasonal cocktails. Excellent service.
The food was delicious, and the pastry chef will tug at your childhood memories. Usually you expect an air of pretentiousness with fine dining places, but that's not the case here and they make you feel at home.
What an amazing dinner! The service and atmosphere were perfect. Small details like printing happy birthday to my wife's name on the menu go a long way. The lamb was phenomenal!!
Everything was 10/10. No complaints. I highly recommend the gnocchi and eggplant. The lemoncello cheesecake dessert was also great.

I recently had the opportunity of dining at Nicola's Restaurant, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made me feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about the food. It was truly outstanding. I started with the Beets & Goat Cheese Salad and the Wagyu Carpaccio appetizer, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors in the salad, with the sweetness of the beets and the creaminess of the goat cheese, was a delightful treat for my taste buds. The Wagyu Carpaccio was thinly sliced and melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly complemented by the accompanying sauce and garnishes.
For the main course, I had the Cioppino, and it was nothing short of perfection. The dish was filled with an array of fresh seafood, including, scallop , mussels, and fish, all swimming in a rich and flavorful tomato-based broth. The seafood was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, and the broth had a depth of flavor that left me wanting more. It was evident that the chef had taken great care in preparing this dish.
Overall, my dining experience at Nicola's Restaurant was exceptional. The combination of fantastic service and great food made for a memorable evening. I would highly recommend trying the Beets & Goat Cheese Salad, the Wagyu Carpaccio appetizer, and the Cioppino. Nicola's Restaurant is definitely a place worth visiting for a delightful culinary experience.
We have eaten at many fine dining establishments - NYC, Vegas, Scottsdale just to name a few. Nicola’s is as good (if not better). Best in Cincinnati! Our server, Olivia, did a fantastic job to make our 19th wedding anniversary celebration so special. The 5 course tasting and wine pairing was out of this world. Everything from the service to the food to atmosphere was top notch. Each plate was perfection - every detail mattered! Hats off to the entire team!
