Always been looking for authentic pollo rostizado or cooked over a grill just like TJ (pollo feliz, rey de pollo). Was nearby buying a mattress in the same location and had to try it. I gotta say, this place is fire! If you want authentic pollo over grill and not no fast food pollo loco that’s hit or miss, come here!

Chicken is juicy and tender just the way I like it. Similar to El Pollo Loco but much better in my mind. Prices are excellent too, I got 1/2 Chicken, Salsa and 3 corn tortillas for $6.99. Can't beat that. Highly Recommended. We will be back .....

I ordered the whole chicken with beans and rice it was delicious with a smokey flavor. Excellent and the prices are reasonable.

We could not be more thrilled with Pollo Amigo--they did a phenomenal job catering our wedding on 10.10.10! Every single item was outstanding (loved the tomato-soup shots and grilled-cheese bites and mini ice-cream cones!). Dennis and Jamie were accommodating, thoughtful, and creative. We truly enjoyed our experience with Forklift and highly recommend their catering services.

I've been eating at this place since the 1980s and the same owners the chicken is great, yummy broiled flavor better than pollo loco and much more reasonable. Home cooked. Nice friendly owners. I could eat there every day but work in trucking. Gotta run. Good job Pollo Amigo after all these years. Mmmmm
