Words cannot convey how amazing this gem of a diner is. The food is great, and the company is even better. These folk literally treat you like family. If you are looking for a good meal among good, decent, salt of the earth type folk, Pop's Place is definitely the place where you want to dine.
P.s. It's shameful to see that others with an agenda have left negative reviews solely to advance their political viewpoints. This place is amazing. Plain and simple.
Loved this little country diner! They serve great breakfast. Biscuits, gravy, pancakes, mounds of bacon, country ham (so good like Kentucky!), Hash browns, omelettes, eggs, and more! Very reasonable prices too. Go for an early hike to Margaret Falls and then grab breakfast at Pop's!

We have lived in Chuckey for just about 3 years and have just recently discovered this gem! They use to be cash only but have recently begun accepting cards as well, which is very convenient for us. Excellent home cooking with plenty of options. Daily breakfast and lunch specials. Very fair prices and portions. The staff is always friendly and the owners are on top of their game for sure. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!
