My mom and I went up to Quarryville to visit a great aunt and we had a great lunch at the BullFrog Inn! The service was very friendly and the salmon club sandwich was delish! There's a reason other reviewers keep mentioning it. The fries were also some of the best I've had in a long time, extra crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. Om nom nom nom
My wife and I joined another couple and road to the at night, I would go with the better back roads. We ordered our drinks, and found a lovely TPA, with my wife drinking a Yingling. We have heard a lot about the crab bisque, so we all four handsome. None of us were is this@ disappointed in the bisque. My wife went on to get the fish and chips while I had the bourbon Bacon cheeseburger. This is the standard test for bar fare. (See Firepit).
Our friends tell us that the rest of the menu is equally excellent and especially the meat loaf
we finished with a hot brownie ala mode. Both desserts were quite good, with the heated brownie being quite special. We will certainly go here again even though it is 15 miles from home

The pot roast sandwich was as good as prime rib and the salmon club was excellent! We're definitely coming back.
Really Good Food. Stopped for lunch and had their crab soup which is every bit as good as advertised. Also had their buffalo chicken burger, which consists of buffalo chicken dip on top of a charbroiled angus beef burger. Great flavor and great portion size. Restaurant was very clean and the service was on point. Highly recommended and worth the drive to this wonderful off the beaten path family owned restaurant / tavern.

Very impressed! Friendly staff all around. Very clean! Food was very good as well. Wings perfectly cooked and seasoned/sauced. Burgers looked good as well as the 🦀 🍲. Gonna try that the next time. Definitely going back!
First time here ! My husband and I were just passing through the area and decided to give it a try. Coconut shrimp was amazing! Garden salad was good! I got a burger and it was super yummy! And my husband got the meatloaf Sammy and loved that as well! We sat at the bar and our amazing bartender Sam took care of us! She was great! Cozy and homey feeling atmosphere! Highly recommend giving them a shot!

This was a quiet little family restaurant and tavern. We made reservations that morning for four of us without any trouble. We arrived on time and we’re immediately seated. Our server visited with us right away and our drink order quickly arrived. This is a little gem in the rough place. It is not far from Strasberg Pennsylvania. Our main waitress was the owner. Just call her Mom. She was polite, intelligent, good at managing people and orders, and has a great dry sense of humor. Our food was quickly prepared and was very filling and excellent. We topped dinner off with two kinds of apply pie and ice cream desserts. Both with going there just for dessert and coffee if you wish. I highly recommend paying them a visit. Rumor has it that the owners might want to retire. Hurry up and make your reservations. Say hi to Mom! Note, the review says person it cost $100. That is not correct. That was for four people plus the tip. I'm not sure how to edit that area.. My apologies...Dan
Pretty good. We had crab bisque which was very good and split a grilled salmon with crab on top. It was good. Staff was awesome. Waitress was crazy good especially since she ran bar and took care of tables. She never rushed you and kept it together. Amazing. Nice interior.
Had the best crab cakes I've ever had here! The atmosphere is warm and very family friendly. Had a great time with my family and friends. The menu has a great variety, while still feeling special and unique. Wonderful service, even the drinks were terrific. We will definitely be regulars after recently moving to the area.
Good food, nice selection of beer on tap, prompt service. But skip the desserts, expensive and dont taste homemade.
Took a chance and drove to Georgetown when places in Strasbourg were closed / didn't look good. This is a wonderful establishment that's been here since the 30s. The crab bisque is one of the best I've ever had, the salmon was tender and flavorful, and the fries are tops. Really top notch food, and I suspect in non-pandemic times the service and ambiance are lovely as well. Worth the detour.
Best crab bisque ever and I've had many. Lots of crab chunks, outstanding flavor. We had a group of 6, all ordered different things, everyone was happy. Meatloaf sandwich, fish and chips, potroast, burger, chicken sandwich, onion rings, all good. Service was fast and friendly. Beer selection was great. The place may not look like much, but the food is excellent.
