Pizza Baracca

Hand on heart I can say this is the best pizza I have ever had in my life, the fresh dough and the fresh ingredients absolutely blew my mind. The fact the ingredients were so fresh to taste and the dough that literary melted in my mouth just incredible. A taste of real italy in christchurch. Thank you

The pizzas were made to order and were ready to collect after 20 minutes. My son enjoyed the Spicy Calabrese and I enjoyed the Pepperoni, Peppers and Prosciutto Crackle. Both were very meaty Pizzas. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that, personally, I found that the Nduja dominated the flavour and I missed the flavour of Oregano. We were informed that traditional Italian pizzas don't tend to be covered with a tomato sauce topping and Pizza Baracca have followed that method but I do think this made the pizza slightly drier than I'm used to. I do understand that these points are subjective and I do recommend that you give Pizza Baracca a try. We will be back and I'll try a vegetarian option next time.

1st visit to this 'artisan' pizza outlet. Thought I'd try them out on the strength of the reviews. 'Pizza Wheel' starter at £4 was good value, nice thin base & not too heavy on the garlic. 'Veggy Pizza' main, nicely presented. Another thin base, not overloaded with ingredients but seasoned well. At £10 about average price but decent. Will return I'm sure to explore the menu more & sample some of the tasty sounding desserts.
