Best fish n chips had in years, freshly cooked in Rapeseed oil , which makes the batter just perfect.
I would throughly recommend this place, price was fair for what you get, big portions as well.

Been using this chip shop for decades and the same couple have owned it for all that time. Cash only as some small businesses don’t like to pay credit/debit card fees which I fully understand, and there is a cash point next door in the CoOp!
Seen some negative reviews here and all I can think of is they are from friends of rival local chip shops as we have never been dissatisfied with the food. If you want fresh cooked food then you have to wait, depending on timing there can be the odd item in the warmer ready to go. Also the shop is very well positioned with parking right outside.
