Had a buy one get one free to use. A warm welcome and a nice cafe. Off the main drag. Food came quickly and was hot. Found the toast a little too crunchy and only one piece on a big brekky. Mind you it was a big big brekky!!!! Rosti was also very well crunched!l Be keen to try the High Tea. Would go again.

Yesterday we went to Insitu Cafe on Opawa Road, after Jurassic Adventure across the road, for my grandsons 8th birthday party. What an awesome experience for both children and adults. The staff were so nice and very friendly. The food was to die for, extremely well presented, quality and some different selections to other cafes around Christchurch. Very well priced for what you buy. The Cafe was so clean and tidy. I was so impressed with the cabinet food, that I purchased 4 items to take home with me, to eat today. So whether you need to book a function or just make this Cafe yours, go visit them. Well worth the drive across the city for us. We will be back to see you. 💖

Fabulous food. I'd be back to try more on the menu. Unfortunately we had booked but no table had been reserved for us. There needs to be more menus available as the waitress was hunting round for 2 and could only find 1 to share and the Cafe was only half full. Stop and read the sign before you tap and pay. It's there to ensure you don't incur a 3% charge for paywave. Unfortunately we did read it in time! I'm going to try out there catering. Seems well priced.

We were made to feel very welcome, and a small request to adapt a meal wasn't a problem. After we were served the owner even came over to personally check everything was ok. Tasty fresh food and lots of cabinet options we're keen to return to try. Meals and drinks came out promptly. Thanks for an enjoyable brunch - my photo doesn't do it justice!

2022: Lovely new cafe next to Jurassic Adventure mini-golf course in Opawa. We went there on a cold rainy day. We were not greeted immediately and took a bit of time for anyone to realise we were standing at the counter. The brunch took over 40 mins to come out, the waiting staff got our coffee order wrong, and my poached egg was a bit overcooked, but we did not mind the wait and it was understandable because I know the place is relatively new and we were there on a busy Saturday morning when it ran special promotions. The food tasted delicious regardless. The coffee was freshly brewed and lukewarm. We will come back because I believe there is a potential and room for improvement. Updates: 04/03/2023 We went back there as promised. The owner, Jai, recognised me straight away. He and hus staff were friendly as usual. Hot drinks were up to Melbournian standards. Brunch was cooked to perfection. Poached eggs did have gooey yolks. I have upgraded my reviews to 5 stars. Well done team.

I could eat here daily (and I sometimes do!). Staff are always lovely, friendly and great memory for regulars orders and allergies. Solid variety of cabinet food that always has something i want. Menu also excellent, I often have the Berry Porridge, you really should try it, you won't make it as good at home! Extensive drinks menu, both hot and cold, and regular new additions. Owner takes real pride in his coffee, you can taste it. Everything is made with good quality ingredients and care, and the atmosphere is calming. Its an oasis. And about to have Dinosaur mini golf neighbours, what more could you want 😁
