Chipmunks Playland And Cafe

We usually go to Wigram as it’s closer to us. The ball pits are great fun, and the venue caters to different age groups, so great for groups or siblings at different ages and stages. The infant section is a little small, but it’s gated and safe for the littlest ones. My daughter had a fall at this venue, and the management have been exceptional. They have assured us they would add signage and extra safety measures to prevent future accidents. Overall a great place to come if you want to burn off some energy and escape the weather.

Living in Christchurch, I take my 2 yr old grandson between Wigram and Papanui every couple of months. Long story short, both cost the same but Papanui is far superior in both the cafe and play areas. Wigram is closer for me tho so sometimes I opt for a shorter car ride… and today I spent a very happy 2 hrs there with my grandson. Some of the facilities are still broken/tired but the staff are very welcoming and still a great play for Master 2.

We just had my 5 year olds birthday party at Chipmunks in Wigram. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Everyone had such a wonderful time. Would highly recommend for any children’s event. Perfect for the little ones and great for parents to catch up while the children play in the safety of the play areas.

Hired the venue for my son's 4th birthday. The staff were very helpful and made it a lot easier for us to organise. All we had to do was welcome the guests and made sure everyone had something to eat. This is our first time hosting a large party for our child so with the staff's guidance of what we should do next made it stress free. Thank you team. The kids had a blast!
