My favourite cafe in Ōtautahi! The inside and garden are lovely, staff are great, coffee and food (cabinet and menu!) are always spot on. My go-to is a salad bowl with green goddess dressing, it is seriously amazing.
My only suggestion as a regular to the cafe is to set up some bike parks! 🚲

Had fantastic food and a coffee. The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend going. It wasn't a very nice day so we were inside. But on a nice day sitting outside would be a treat.

Food was good, our soup was just a slight bit spicy but everything else was great. It was slightly noisy at times, more from people talking than the acoustics. I imagine it would be hard to hear if there were a couple of talkative groups at the same time.
Prices were good. I'm keen to come back on a warmer day, to try the outside area.

Finally manage to visit Good Habit ! Just realise they using the Prima coffee ( I am Prima fans ) 😍 love the atmosphere and having dessert ,is it really nice !
Own house parking lot is a bonus and I should try their meals next time !

There is parking onsite - a little spot just to the side of the cafe which really helps as traffic is insane in this area.

Cozy Cafe with the added charm of previously being a convent. Lovely outdoor space with tables, shade and pretty garden. I had the kimchi omelette and it was superb! The cabinet food also look delicious

Lovely old Convent building and gardens to have a peaceful break with nourishing food. Good for the soul and the tummy 😍 Great food selections, dietary options and treats. Nicest staff as well. I really enjoy coming here

Made the trip specifically to check out Good Habit, as I drive past often. I remember when the nunnery stood next to the building pre-quakes, so was keen to check it out.
I enjoyed the place! It's lovely and light inside, with what looks like exposed original wooden beams, and an open kitchen if you like to see the chefs do their thing. I just had a chocolate chip muffin and flat white in a tulip cup and it was fantastic! The coffee was seriously good. The staff for friendly and efficient and while I didn't check out the menu, the cabinet food looked great. Highly recommend!
