Great place, great tasting food and drinks, and kind people. I came here from Indonesia to experience the south part of New Zealand. Wondering around the quiet town, we bumped into this place to chill for a bit before dinner time which is 5pm. Coffee is great, hot coco is great as well! Inside the place is very aesthetically sound, and they have the kindest people serving. Go for a try!

As most of those cafes. Very nice and friendly staff. Good food and beverage selection. Maybe just a bit dissapointed with the amount of food I had in my plate (remove the napkin and cutlery and the plate is half empty) compared with other Black & White coffee in Christchurch.

Black and White Coffee roast their own beans in store and by the taste of the coffee they do a damn good job. The casual friendly atmosphere is great and the food superb. The grass area is a real treat in a central city location and it was lovely to sit in the sun. I would recommend swapping to black aprons with a white screen printed logo however, as the light coloured ones looked dirty. Great overall experience, we will be back for more coffee.
