Grabbed some Sea Star to take and enjoy on the beach. As someone who can't have gluten or wheat, I was disappointed they didn't offer a GF wrap or other alternative. However, the breadless sandwich was sooo good! Their products are fresh, tasty, and worth it. We showed up right when they opened and they had a line form right away. I can understand why!
Fresh handmade sandwiches. Service was friendly and food was delivered quickly. I really enjoyed eating outside at little picnic tables. Watched the water birds. Good shade.
I was very excited to find this cafe while visiting Chincoteague. They have something for everyone on this menu, from vegan/vegetarian to sandwiches piled high with the works. I had the special which was turkey with bacon jam and brie on a biscuit. It was mouth watering! My husband got the hummus and pita. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Heard about this place and was a bit hesitant to try since we’ve heard & read good reviews about certain restaurants/food places in the area that have let us down. However, this place is absolutely AMAZING! The food is tasty and fresh. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Absolutely and highly recommend Sea Star, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
Their Turkey special sandwich was amazing ! Turkey, bacon, avacado, blue cheese Asiago, wow! July 2021.
Also walnut brownie was totally worth it.
Wait times average about 30 minutes -- but note, this is a holiday weekend. We had the Virginia Sandwich and chicken salad crossiant with ginger peach ice tea. All fresh and tasty so worth the wait.
Sandwiches are delicious made with fresh ingredients. Often times there's a line to order but definitely worth the wait.
Sandwiches are amazing and well packed. Customize sandwich if you want with anything. Very fresh.
