Stephanie - who are you?? You are such an incredible human! Thank you so much for the amazing service this past weekend. To add to that, every staff member we came in contact with was wonderful! Thank you to the gentleman that brought out our food. My daughter has a horrible tomato allergy and her salad was immediately corrected. We cannot thank you enough. It was super-busy yet still greeted with a smile. Our stay in Chilcothe was short but our experience was incredible.

The onion rings were cooked perfect and the waitress was great. She was observant and kept checking on us. The wonton tacos were crunchy but a little over seasoned. The green beans were absolutely disgusting. They were overcooked and seasoned to the point of drowning in the garlic. The steaks were cooked very nicely as requested (med rare & med) but again over seasoned. Whoever the cook was caused the loss of a customer. If and that is a big if I ever try it again, it will be because of the waitress.

When we arrived we were just standing there waiting to be seated and there was no hostess. We were just about to seat ourselves when she came out. She was not very friendly and even less friendly when we requested a booth. To her credit, requesting a booth meant she had to clean one (I guess they didn't schedule any busers?) She cleaned it and seated us at a VERY wet table. It was father's day (6/18/22) and they were pretty busy so I understand, but you should never show your anger to your customers. I work in customers service too. It can be hard when you're having a bad day but you always need to do your best not to show it to a customer. Our server was crazy awesome. She was very attentive and on top of it. I swear I took my last sip of tea and she was right there with a fresh glass of tea. She was there anytime we needed water or anything else while we waited for lunch to show up. That's customer service! And very much appreciated. We ordered at around 1:30ish and got our food at about 2:30. I could've broke out my portable grill in the parking lot and had it in about half the time lol. All that being said, I believe someone forgot it was Father's day and didn't schedule properly to have the appropriate staff. With the exception of the hostess, everyone was busting their tail and the food was very good! Let me say that again, the food was VERY good! Steak cooked and seasoned perfectly, alfedo... delicious! The wife got riblets and was very impressed. Bellies full and satisfied. I would go again for sure. Just not on Father's day lol 3 stars because of the hostess and manager that did the Father's day schedule. Otherwise, 5 stars.
