Maltese Bar

Drinks are a tad pricey, but they're very well made. Having a $7 cover charge on a Wednesday is a bit ridiculous though. Especially for Chico at a place where I can't even order any food and I'd have to leave to get anything to eat. The live music is great though and I really had a blast listening to the bands. The bands were the best part, the venue was steadfastly okay for the price.

This is a fun little bar to come hang out and catch a good show. They often have a lot of different events here, usually live music, karaoke, comedy shows, burlesque, etc. If you like an eccentric sort of vibe then this is the place to visit. The only thing I would say is a big downside is that this place really needs an update on they're space. It's a bit grungy and some seats are broken down. Other than that, it's a unique and fun bar yo hang out!

You would think that I would've been unhappy with this bar but I'm not. Actually I thought the staff was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was actually pretty cool. The only reason they didn't get more stars is the furniture. Most uncomfortable booth I've ever sat in and the table rocked more than a boat at sea. If they upgraded a little it would be one of the best watering holes in Chico. The only other problem was parking so prepare to walk a little bit if they have a busy night. All in all you'll have fun with great drinks and a variety of entertainment choices through out the week. We will be going back.
