This is now currently called Fivepoints Framhouse, but the food is great! The cheesecake from Levi's Custom Cheesecakes are amazing!

This place is wonderful!! Prices are affordable and the food is made like your grandmother cooked it. they have a big selection and daily specials. Down home cooking and down home service. Staff is super friendly and helpful, make everyone feel welcome. Love this place and highly recommend.

Country cooking. Extremely nice and courteous staff. A little off the main highway. The chicken and dressing is fantastic! My wife said the chicken casserole was as well. The mashed potatoes were real and made on site. The desserts are really good. Very reasonable prices.

What a great find this place was for us today. It's not in downtown Chickamauga, so it wasn't as easy to find, but is well with the visit. Good, hearty Southern fare all the way. The day's specials are on both a menu or a white board on the wall. The potato soup thick and chunky, like it should be. My catfish was surprisingly good, as were the okra and green beans. The prices are more than fair. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you need a little Southern comfort for the day.

The staff was very friendly and the decoration and layout of the restaurant reminded me of a mom and pop café I have seen in movies that took place in the 1960's.Not to say the place looked dated but it was decorated in a similar fashion as Cracker Barrel restaurants are but the melon patch's food is better and more modestly priced. I had the country fried steak with white gravy and sweet potatoes and fried squash as my sides, with a sweet tea to drink. The portion sizes were more than adequate for what you were paying for them and the country fried steak was out of this world it was so good as well as the sweet potatoes and squash. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody and everybody who wants a home cooked meal that you don't have to cook at home. You can also buy fresh produce outside which I thought was a nice touch. Overall with the food and experience I give two thumbs up without a doubt.

I have been eating at the Melon Patch sense the first week they opened. I was there, with my spouse, last evening, Friday November 17th 2017. I have noticed that in the last year that things have really been going down hill. Last night was our final visit. We have given them 4 chances to improve, on the hope that we caught them on a bad day/evening. I really don't know where to start. With the exception of an elderly white haired lady, that has been there for years, the service was almost nonexistent. We were the first to sit down in our section, behind the half wall, in the booth area. First seated but the last to be waited on and the last to aquire our meal. I'm sure that it isn't us. We always engage the staff and ALWAYS leave a tip of at least $5.00 for 2 persons. The food was way below quality. I had chicken and dumplings, but there was not even 1 tiny bit of chicken. It took us 27 minutes to get our food. Even the veggies were below par. Sorry, but we will be spending our hard earned money in a restaurant that will truly appreciate our business.

The atmosphere was so warm and friendly. The owner is a very visible fixture and rounds frequently on all the tables. He visited our table twice during our meal.
