Great place for live Blues music on Friday and Saturday nights. Low key, neighborhood bar atmosphere with pool in back, seating in front and space to dance if you're feeling it.

Very frustrating place. It has a great vibe and the live bands are always awesome. Pool, photo booth, very casual...nice touches. But the staff is a little difficult. They're all nice and laid back, but they spend a lot of time laughing among themselves and having long conversations while customers stand around waiting. I've seen this several times. They're always very friendly, but they should be more attentive. At a place like this, which is otherwise a pretty standard neighborhood bar, service really counts. And their disposition is great. They just need to pay more attention.

We had a fun night for karaoke night. My friends got up and did a number after a few drinks. I got sex on the beach and it was tasty... such a weird sentence. Anyway! Good drinks and prices! Plus, they have some games like pool to play.

Walked by this place everyday on my way to work. Finally had the chance to stop in. Great layout with the most amazing staff one could hope for. If you want to grab a quick pint, with great chance at good conversation, definitely start here.

One of my favorite bars. Good drink selection that won't leave you with a monster bill that you'll get in the loop. Also, they have pool and shuffleboard.

Nick's is great whether it's packed or almost empty. The bartenders are great and there's a giant fish mounted above the bar outside, what more could you want?

lived in Chicago almost entire adult life ,first time in Nick's~ cute, big space.looks grungy from outside but cute inside! bartender was attentive ,even though they were having some technological music issues? i would recommend for casual drinks with friends
