I visited this amazing authentic restaurant on Friday with our good friends visiting from Texas. I asked my sister Daisy what she would recommend and she immediately said go to my friends restaurant near your home. Ana Maria Pasteria you will love it. She was absolutely right it was amazingly cozy, the staff was kind and the food and drinks definitely delicious 😋 you must go if your looking to eat authentic Italian food cooked by a master chef. Amazing food with amazing experience, feels like you have traveled to an old town in Italy, the moment you cross the doors. I was a bit skeptical because the restaurant was on a major intersection, but we couldn't hear a thing. The decor was amazing, the food delicious and the servers super polite. Will be coming back to this neighborhood gem

Drove from Virginia to Chicago Aug.22 to drop of my kid @ DePaul Theatre Conservatory, exhausted & the heat (Chicago what is up with 100°+ days to move into the dorm!). Anna Marie’s looked good, It was exactly what we wanted & needed. We split a Caesar salad, wonderful homemade dressing, the Pollo Vesuvio, exactly the comforting food we needed. Tiffany is a gem, she seated us & was our server as well. The environment was homey, cool on the hot day, Tiffany makes an excellent Lemon Drop! The Tiramisu is an entirely other level, (voted best in Chicago) heavenly! Discount if you pay cash! Planning my next trip, Anna Marie’s has already been selected for the birthday dinner! Again Italian is my thing! This is old school Italian at it's best food was fast and fresh! It was my first time dining as I was going to the theater down the street. I can be discriminate with my food but these place was perfect,with a cozy ambiance and had fair prices for the yummy food! I did the lobster stuffed ravioli, chocolate cake, while my sister had the lamb and fresh spinach with garlic added. We did a nice sweet Moscato to pair it with!

This Northside Chicago neighborhood gem is a must. Just found it and I'm glad I did. Authentic Italian restaurant with perfectly proportioned entrees that are delicious. The restaurant has been around for over forty years with the same sweet owner, chef and some very tenured wait staff. That says all you need to know in the high turnover restaurant industry.
