The food and service here is amazing. The service is extraordinarily quick and the food is delicious. My family and I were seated immediately and hot tea was given shortly thereafter. Not 5 minutes from ordering, our dishes came out and we were ready to eat. I highly recommend Peking Mandarin Restaurant. P.S. try the spicy wings, you will be hooked!

Recently revisited here and the food is great as it was 15 years ago. Low key spot in the old korean town area. You won’t regret taking a little trip to try out the Korean Chinese food here. I recommend the noodle dishes but their other stuff is good too.

Sometimes it is a great experience, but sometimes, like today, the jjajjangmyun (black bean sauce w noodles) was too salty, jjampong (sea food soup w noodles) was sort of bland. Maybe it had been sitting out all day losing flavor.. the fried pork dumplings was a little too salty. The cooking needs more attention to detail. If the level of care was attended to every single time, it would be a totally great place!

Owned by a Korean family from China,so you'll find some of the best food in Chicago,if you like noodles soup, ask for the "shampom",spicy, believe me you'll love it, especially when the weather gets cold

A friend recommended this place to us as she used to live in the area and swore by their food - especially their Spiced Fried Chicken - which seems to be a favorite amongst regular patrons! The quality is absolutely worth the price, which is fairly cheap as is. We've ordered from there several times now, but most recently $65 fed 4 people, which included four main courses, an extra side of fried rice and their famous spiced fried chicken. My mushroom chicken lasted me 3 days and still reheated well. Right now it's pick-up and delivery only because of COVID, but the owner has been holding her own to make sure quality doesn't suffer.

Horrible. Zero Stars if I could. Upon paying at counter, she came stomping over to demand tip. (when we're still finishing up our meals) Absolutely the rudest service I've experienced in the area, with no apologies. On that day, decided never to return. Food isn't as great as the reviews state. Average noodles. They're cheap, that's about it. Not the cleanest place either. Even though the new Great Seas down the street, isn't that great anymore, I'll still recommend going there. ..Obviously this occurred before CORONA VIRUS if it's dining. No matter who is behind the register, the owner needs to take accountability so customers are treated with respect, rather than being stepped on.
