I've gotten delivery/pick-up from Poke Burrito 4-5 times and eaten in-store too and have really grown to like the food here. It's not as trendy (or maybe authentic) as other poke places, and the restaurant itself is quite small and doesn't have a counter for you to see them make the food, but the ingredients are incredibly fresh and you get a ton of food for the medium size. Overall, I'd describe it as more healthy-tasting with all the fresh veggie options, which is exactly what I like in my poke bowl.
I and my friend had salmon bowls and it was delicious! The salmon was fresh and the combination of every ingredient was harmonious. The staff was kind as well.
My coworkers and I decided to try this place. It's a block away from our work place and we wanted to try a place we haven't tried before. I'm so glad we did. I tried the regular "build your own poke bowl" with the marinated salmon. SO GOOD. The salmon was delicious. The veggies were fresh. I also had a side of the spicy aioli which was very flavorful. I will definitely have lunch here again in the future.
Healthy and tasty options! I had the H1: Jimmy’s creation bowl. The portion is really generous. So much topping that you need to dig in for the rice. All ingredients taste fresh. But I think for an environmentally friendly way of ordering, they should probably put up a billboard instead of handing out paper menus. Also the dressing is a bit overwhelming for the Jimmy’s creation bowl. But I will remember to ask for less dressing next time. Overall a great place for some fresh poke bowls!
I think Poke Burrito is a pretty good place a chill, healthy meal for a reasonably low price. Their menu is a bit short but each bowl and burrito is loaded with different flavors!
I got the salmon obsession bowl and greatly enjoyed it. I liked how the flavors all blended together well, and nothing overpowered the others. The one thing I didn't like was the Mandarin oranges, they were too sour and didn't fit the dish. But the bowl offers a good mix of textures and flavors.
I'm really surprised it was empty when I came. It was in a sketchier part of town and it seemed there were a lot of to-go orders. Overall I think a must try if you want some poke or a lighter meal!
Good quick poke place. Very friendly staff and it's awesome how easy it is to customize your bowl with very few limits. It isn't my favorite poke place but it is awesome for a quick bite for lunch during work.
Fresh ingredients, clean location. Good for eating in or pick-up.
Flew into town on some business and I've been told several times the food in Chicago is amazing! Poke burrito did NOT disappoint. I was a bit skeptical to try a burrito with raw fish inside, however, to my surprise I was not disappointed. I ended up ordering the spicy tuna burrito wrapped in a seaweed. Although the burrito was a bit on the pricy side it was well worth it. The food had came out within 5-10 minutes. I ended up getting a side of spicy mayo(my favorite). It was delicious, however my only complaint was that it was very messy while eating. I will definitely try and come back. I would recommend this place!
