Bluebird

Bluebird is one of my most favorite food places in Chicago. The food is consistently fresh and amazing, staff is wonderful, and they have a cute dining area. COVID has made things weird (no dining in) but when I call to place an order for pickup it’s ready in 15-20 minutes. I’m obsessed with the California Club (make sure to get it on a baguette)! The way all of the flavors/textures of this sandwich come together is pure magic. Their truffle fries are delicious and don’t get me started on the cheese curds - super tasty and you get a good sized portion for the price!

Got some delivery from them and it was great. Reasonable delivery times. The food was delivery hot and fresh and super delicious. I got shrimp po' boys with some regular fries and some truffle fries. Both were very delicious. Totally make sure to check them out. The shrimp in the po' boys were cooked to perfection and they weren't small either, which was nice.

Would love to give this place more positivity, except they are nothing but hateful and negative. Food is great as long as you’re willing to put up with intolerant and atrocious customer service. Got a run around for five minutes on the phone about how I, MYSELF, screwed up on the order after I inquired about sauce I requested and a mis charge for an item that was not available (??). And if I wanted the extra sauce I should have paid for it. Absolutely terrible customer service and the only reason I’d ever return is because the food is so good, maybe a little redemption available. Step your front counter service up, or the jig is up cause we will black ball you for that kind of service.
