Excellent food and friendly staff! Opening night was very busy but we didn't have to wait too long either to be seated or for our food. Food was well priced ($100 for 2 people without wine).

Perfectly cooked octopus! Just WOW! The seafood was all paired perfectly. The champagne list could use some additions (in my own opinion). The mouse at the end with blueberries... great way to end the meal!

The food was awesome and the service on point. Lived the vibe. I only took off a star because we ordered the baguette as a starter and the outer crust was so hard it cut up my mouth and most of the dishes are a little high on the acidity scale, and it was painful to eat. I thought it was just me but then my date also mentioned at the end that the bread had cut up his mouth.

The cutest French restaurant around, the food on the other hand is great. Good service, nice location and a very chill yet sophisticated atmosphere. The steak frites and éclair were the highlights of the meal.

Fresh seafood, best oysters I’ve ever had! I suggest getting the chefs special. Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere - great place to dine. Looking forward to returning to try more of the menu!

This review is simply based on our happy hour. $10 bottles of house wine and $1 oysters. The house wine was a great deal, we had the rose. We also ordered frites and tons of oysters. All were fresh and great. This may be the best new happy hour in Wicker Park, Mon - Fri. I advise you still make a reservation before going.

On top of the food being absolutely amazing. The oyster xhef special is a must! A great place for a date. The best part was actually the busboy Miguel. He was incredibly nice and talkative kind and had perfect timing. Like a bartender that came to your table. Best experience. All of the staff was great. Id recommend for a date to anyone.

Cafe Concale exceeded all expectations. We were seated at the bar in the main dining room. The cocktails were the perfect and the food creative and fresh. One of the best meals I have had and the ambiance is relaxed and inviting. Will definitely be coming back.
