Golden Nugget

If I can give it more than five stars, I would. The staff here is super nice and the food is great. Mickey was really sweet and very helpful, definitely went the extra mile. I had a slice of chocolate mousse cake and it was out of this world. Reasonably priced too. Definitely will be coming back again!

I looove golden nugget and always go to various locations, but it's my first time at this specific location. Sunday Jan. 2 2022. Day two of this fresh new year. Woke up extra late (since i am in vacation). About 2pm, stomach growling, moody af. Girlfriend decides to shower! After an hour of getting ready we finally leave! We're on the way. DRIVING FAST (WITHIN THE SPPED LIMITS OFCOURSE) maneuvering my way through the slow, below limit drivers. We finally arrived. We seat our selves (my gf and i) 5 minutes in and no service yet. Hmm i thought. Finally waitress comes to table. An older lady I'd say on her 50s. Terrible service. Bad attitude and did not seemed to want to be wirking. I eat my food. I had a chicken club sandwich and onion rings. Everything looked normal until i finished eating. I noticed there was dry ahh ketchup and dryed egg yolk on my plate. I did not order any eggs and i don't eat ketchup. My stomach turned. My girlfriend notices an eyelash on her turkey club sandwich! We decided to not visit this location anymore. Sorry Golden Nugget. Y'all need to send an inspector into this location.

Well was on a budget and haven't stopped at this old relic of a restaurant chain for sometime. Anyways this location is decent. It is a local chain in Chicago. I usually go to the one on Pulaski and Diversey location but they closed early due to that location not making any business. Had the chicken fajitas special since it comes with soup or salad, a carbonated beverage or coffee and a dessert. Otherwise again decent passerby place if you want decent Diner food. Nothing spectacular but nothing to underrated. The best part was German Chocolate Cake.
