Cafe Bon Homme

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I'm glad it was. It's at a great location, right along the Chicago River. It's actually a hidden gem. from the outside it looks like a small bar, but walk inside and out the back and there's a massive indoor seating section, walk a little further and down a few steps and you enter a really cool section close to the water with lots of plant decorations. Food wise it has an extensive menu with something for everyone. I had the spicy chicken bao bun which was absolutely amazing and also opted for the sangria which was absolutely superb and came in a cool jug 👌🍹. Would recommend and would visit again

The portions are small (tapas) but it's a beautiful restaurant with a riverview. I went in the winter time, but I really want to visit again when the weather is nice. The food was really good. We "ooh"ed and "ah"ed tasting the dishes we ordered!(the noodle dish though wasn't our favorite). Highly recommend if you're looking to book a place for a special day.

The restaurant was really beautiful decorated with gorgeous deco. Great delicious food. Our starters were bigger portions than the main course but everything we ate was yummy. We ordered the smoked babaganoush and mezze platter, along with chicken and waffles. Everything was lovely. We sat by the river(although by the glass), it was still a lovely dining experience. Recommend 10/10!!

You will not be full after eating here!!! BUT the food is delicious and not like any other restaurant. The drink are fun and taste good. Sharing is better to try all the different flavors in each dish. Try to get a seat outdoors by the river. The service is always great.y favorite is the decor and the vibe!!!
