Trattoria Trullo is a casual restaurant serving Italian food. Some items on the menu are a bit pricey, perhaps due to prime location in Lincoln Square. Worth paying the price are two dishes that may or may not be on the menu. However, if you're daring enough ask for them, perhaps the chef will be obliged to make them for you: 1. homemade lobster ravioli 2. cheese ravioli in a balsamic sauce. I've also been here for Mother's day brunch recently, but wasn't really thrilled with it. The seating outside is charming and the European-style habit of strolling up and down the square will keep you entertained.

The price didn't fit the food or service. Brought mom there for her birthday, and the first clue should have been all the empty tables there on a Friday night. This made more room for the 4 kids who were running around the restaurant for literally 20 minutes. It never seemed to dawn upon the manager to tell their parents that this was dangerous for the people who were trying to do actual work that night. The pork chop special that dad got was so dry he only ate half of it. He isn't one to send food back, so I gave him one of my lamb chops, which were good, but at $30, they better had been. Also, the waitress brought me our total bill of about $180 two times because she forgot to add a $2 juice that my son drank. Really? Two dollars? It made me wonder if the owners stay up all night counting each juice to make sure there are no discrepancies. They should spend more time tasting the food that comes out of the kitchen.

The food was surprisingly authentic Italian. Our waitress described the dishes like she had prepared them herself. Good experience for a nice dinner out.

This is one of my favorite places in the area. The restaurant itself is warm and cozy, and very welcoming. The food here is also to die for, I should know based on my scale the next day. I highly recommend the rapini and pasta dish, as well as the bean puree pasta.

The most authentic trattoria in town. The food was good and so was the service. Few more patrons would be awesome though

I got a tiramisu to go while I was shopping in the Lincoln square area. The tiramisu is decent. Nothing too spectacular.
