We've ordered their party platters of lumpia in pork and chicken for the last few holidays. Ordering and scheduling pickup is fast and easy. They are made fresh and are piping hot. They never last longer than an hour before we devour them all. So good!

The ambience is good but the food was prepared untidy; the chicken afritada was overflowing from the container. It would be good if it was put in a better sealed container. Chicken afritada are strands of chicken as compared to what i expected as small bits of chicken, and the sinigang na salmon is not soury at all, both food are far from what a Filipino taste we are expecting it to be. It does look like it was cooked by somebody not Filipino. I am disappointed being my first time to order here. I’d still go with Ruby’s. But maybe I’ll try their other menus next time and see if my impression changes.

Stopped in here while running errands and it was nice, almost hidden find. The woman working the front counter was super sweet. The menu has a lot of offer but we stuck with empanadas for quickness and they were good but I was really blown away with the egg rolls. There are plenty of other options on the menu but unfortunately we didn't have time to try more.
Recommend: Egg rolls! These small guys surprisingly pack a flavorful punch. Generous portions for a side
Atmosphere: Cute spot with fresh flowers at each table. During the time of our visit it was nice and quiet.

The food was ok, but the decor looks weird and uninviting.

Very nice place to get a fully cooked dinner or lunch for a very short amount of time. Their food is good and authentic.

As a hungry Northeastern student taking night classes, Merla's Kitchen has been awesome. I highly recommend the empanadas. One is enough for a big snack, two of them make for a full meal.

Dined for a late lunch Tuesday 7/6. Texted early in the morning for reservations for 9 people. Empanadas are REALLY GOOD! Ordered the beef and chicken, lots of filling and the crust was slightly sweet. Bus sooo tasty.
We ordered the Shanghai lumpia and the Pancit Bihon from the catering page. Both were good and satisfying. But we also ordered individually. Two of us had the Lechon Kawali, my partners lechon was nice, hot and crispy. Mine was on the warm side and parts of the pork too dry.
Two others ordered fried wings (they could make up their mind, but they said it was good). Another ordered chicken Afrida and empanada entree. And another ordered the vegetable dish. There was a bit too much soy based sauce.
Pleas remember this is a one or two woman show. Food did come out slowly.
Suggestion if you dined there before or are familiar with Filipino cuisine. ORDER beforehand. Place your order about an hour prior to arriving.

Amazing food. Probably my new favorite Filipino restaurant in the city. Everything I tasted was amazing. Namely, the chicken adobo, pan said, and fish empanada. Will definitely come back
