First bite of the Downtown Club was fantastic, every flavor there, yet not overpowering. Generous serving size. The potato salad has a distinct tangy yet smooth flavor. Like your mommas but just a little extra better. 10/10 can’t wait to come back. **Downtown Club does come with tomatoes but opted out**

Aje Cafe is an amazing family owned sandwich shop. The ingredients are so fresh, perfectly sliced, and evenly distributed to every bite. Everything I've had has been delicious. The grand deluxe veggie and southwest diablo are two highlights. The southwest diablo on a French roll is pictured here. The chai latte is my favorite in the area. I highly recommend coming to Aje and supporting this awesome locally owned cafe!

Came in around before noon and it wasn't packed today. I went with the London Port Club which is a roast beef sandwich with bacon avocados and fresh veggies on a marble rye. It also comes with a side and I glad I took the potato salad. I must say the sandwich was amazing. The roast beef is superb and the veggies were crunchy and fresh. Definitely would order it again. It is a decent size sandwich. A bit on the pricey side at $13.50, but it tasted amazing so that's alright. Service was fast and prompt. People behind the counter were nice when I asked for suggestions. They do have a 60 minute table limit, which may bother some. They have a sign for no more wifi service as well. They serve to be a coffee shop with coffee options, but not the place to get work done for more than a hour or so. But in terms of food, it is 5 stars and definitely will come and try again. Seems they have a very successful takeout business and lives up to the hype. Check it out!

Food was good but the cashier lady and the lead cook are so rude. A grub hub driver came in to pick up food and while looking at the menu the lead cook proceeds to ask him at least 4 times if he was ordering with his response being the same every time he’d ask “I’m looking at the menu”. I’ve just moved to chicago and people here keep to them selves but this is by far the most rude and unnecessary interaction I’ve ever encountered. Keep in mind both people were minorities so his rudeness was just that much more uncalled for. If you must eat here, order pick up and run as far away from these people as possible.

Went there for the tuna melt, bread and tuna was good but I believe they could add more stuff inside such as lettuce tomato cucumber. Had the berry smoothie that was good. Staff could smile a little bit more

I was so excited to try this place based on reviews. Cook was not wearing face mask or gloves… I was so confused. We obviously left and I called in to understand why. Cashier told me he has an allergy which doesn’t sound like a good excuse. They make non-latex gloves and just about any material mask. They are also sporting a sign that states that your stomach kills the COVID virus apparently.

Very nice cafe! I had their tomato soup and sweet matches tea. They were delicious! The staff were very nice and helpful. They are also reasonably priced. I would definately come back here to try their sandwiches.
