Ordered all you can eat. Came at an off hour so we were seated quickly. Service is fine and food came out quick. Miso soup tastes like water. Hot and cold appetizer was not bad. Sushi rice is all cram together in one big chunk for nigiri. The rice was so wet and soggy, the balance is way off. Nigiri are pretty bad quality overall. The quality of ingredients are not bad. Rolls are decent quality. I am surprised how the chef made such poor quality sushi with decent ingredients.

The all you can eat has gone up from 18 to 27$, have to voice my displeasure: everything is spicy tuna or salmon or vegetables in terms of rolls... feel like I paid 60 bucks for a bunch of rice. Place used to be packed, now its empty... cause its not worth the money...

I love this place been going here for years. Great all you can eat sushi. So many people go here the food is always fresh service is great and it's BYOB. You do have to pay for the food you don't eat so I recommend starting out slow or go with a crowd and help each other out. It's about $28 a person

I'm not a sushi fan at all but this is one of my friends favorite sushi place. We usually get the all you can eat for $25 for my taste is good but I wish they have more fried sushi wich is my favorite but I guess they only have one fried style, if your not picky and have a limited budget this is the right place!

Hand's down the best sushi in Chicago for a restaurant that's not in the fine dining high roller category. Prices are mid range (not cheap but not overly expensive) . Very fair for the quality of food.miso soup is good. Good luck trying to find parking though (on Milwaukee Ave just east of Damen Ave. This place is perfect for a first date.

I have been eating Sushi all my life everywhere in U.S. Unfortunately my experience here was perhaps the worst in term of quality of sushi/ nigiri. Rice was at least 2x to 3x larger than usual and the slices of sashimi on top of rice was 1/4 thickness of average nigiri. We had no choice but to eat 1/2 of rice and leave other 1/2 on plate. Then the manager would not let us order any more even though it is supposed to be All You can eat.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is unfortunate because we really want to support all sushi stores. I talked with the manager about our dissatisfaction but he was not willing to understand or to consider any changes, which tell us this place will not improve. Very unfortunate.

We used to come here and enjoy the experience. What a change over the last few months. It was an awful experience.
They were supposed to be open at 11:30 and we showed up at noon. Doors locked, staff inside but no one acknowledged us at all. Finally someone comes, opens the door, and says nothing. (I did confirm with them that they open at 11:30, but they didn't seem to care). We sit down and no one pays attention for 10 minutes until finally I walked over to ask for the sheets to order.
We were one of 2 tables there over the course of 1.5 hours we had to ask for every single thing, including napkins, chopsticks, water, etc. It took forever for the food to come out. And the quality was so much worse that what it was in the past. The veggie tempura was a mess of only fried sweet potato. And the sushi was basically a giant ball of rice with a small sliver of fish.
There is no attention to detail and no one seems to care about the customer experience. We are never going here again. What a disappointment and terrible experience.

Sushi para is a great place to go with your coworkers on a Friday night. Some of the pros that it's less crowded, the tables are spaced much more comfortably, it is a few dollars cheaper than other all you can eat sushi restaurants in the area, it is BYOB, and the service is faster. One of the reasons that it might be faster is the presentation of the sushi itself is not as extravagant as other restaurants nearby. As well, the decor is rather plain. Finally, unlike other nearby restaurants there is no bar for single travelers. However, this does not take away from an overall fantastic experience at a sushi restaurant in Chicago.
