My professor catered from this store 3 weeks ago and it was the most delicious surprise ever! I RARELY eat middle eastern food in Chicago because it never tastes like back home but this store surprised me as it actually did! The chicken shawerma I tried was delicious and filled lots with meat. The baklava was amazing!! This is a long over do post but I still have not forgot to rate them. They deserve it. Can't wait to try the rest and actually stop by. I highly recommend everyone to cater from here! :)
Delicious! Can't wait to go back and have their special dish. Even their tahini sauce is great. Place is very clean and open with high ceilings. Staff is very nice and they don't nickel and dime you for little things. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves middle eastern food.
This place is so great. Nice ambiance and cool classic 90s Middleeastern music. We started with hummus and authentic Egyptian stuffed grape leaves. I tried kushari many times in different places but it tastes exceptionally great here. The falafel was divine. Mixed Cairo grill is a must here. Don’t forget to wrap up with a cup of tea. Ahmad is so kind and considerate. Def will be here again soon.
Simply incredible Koshari, leagues ahead of any Koshari I've had on this side of the Atlantic. The restaurant itself is just lovely on the inside, with a very authentically Egyptian interior. We always order our Koshari via food apps but honestly it's so much better having it at the restaurant, especially that we get to pour Dakka on it, and the fried onion is nice and crispy. 5*
Everything we ordered here was good and super fresh! The manager Ahmed was very thoughtful, nice and has reassuring smile. The place was clean and has this middle Eastern vibes.
We ordered to go because we were in a hurry that day. When we got home and tried all the food, Ohmygosh!! Super Yummy, and mouth watering! We will definitely come back here! I love the Baklavas and the cookies with dates! I love all the food we ordered here, just thinking about it makes me hungry again. The freshly made hummus is for the win! The Combo Kebab got all the flavors I wanted to try. The lamb kebab was very delicious and no after taste, it was properly prepared and seasoned well. We will definitely come back! Amazing kebab! Meats are flavorful but not overwhelming. Rice is cooked to perfection as well!
One of the best places to go for a quick grab, reasonably priced, amazing food! Always had fresh, off the grill food. Shawarma and sandwiches are always amazing! Never had any complains. Place is zabiha halal and they have a huge dine in area too.
