Have been eating at Matsuya for over 50 years. Still excellent. The food is top notch.
Combination C is always a reliable go to.
Great tempura, teriyaki anything (salmon, beef, chicken) is always great.
The sushi is fresh and tasty.
If you haven't eaten here, do yourself a favor.

Can’t believe it took a pandemic for me to try this place. Always excellent sushi. We’ve done both take out and delivery and it really holds up well. The owners are really nice too. Particularly fond of their shimmy vegetable tempura and spicy tuna roll.

Nice staff, arrived late and super hungry. Ordered tempura, chicken katsu and sashimi. Nice portions size. Update: went back more times and tried both the salmon teriyaki and the pork katsu. The salmon as you can see in the picture was very dry and pretty much tasteless. The pork was also very tough to eat. Now the sashimi It was always good, no complaints as well as the tempura. Maybe the rolls are better but then I don’t eat too much rice.

What a gem. Great food and service. The tofu appetizer is a great start to a delicious lunch. The shoyu ramen and e combination as pictured. Plenty of street parking.

One of the top 5 sushi restaurants in the city, even top 3. Incredible quality of fish, I really don’t know how they do it since the ocean is nowhere nearby. My parents used to go here like 30 years ago and it’s still as great! Never change!
