Overall: Great spot for some casual Venezuelan. Not too fancy, but not street food quality either. Definitely hits the spot!
The good: The food is ahhhmazing. The cachapa, which I'd never had before, was cheesy, savory, and somewhat sweet, and was great. The pabellon bowl was hearty, warm, and flavorful. The service was friendly and the menu all seemed authentic and fitting. Prices are reasonable too.
The not so good: Our table was wobbly. The water was never refilled for our table (the pitcher we got that is). The atmoshere, while good, could use a little more homey-ness.
Atmosphere: 9/10
Service: 9/10

The food, music, decor and even wait staff here are extremely authentic and enjoyable! The lunch special is an amazing deal: small bowl of lentil soup to start, cheese arepa, bowl of rice, beans, chicken or steak, pico de gallo, topped with a delicious light sauce that perfectly complements it. Pro tip: put some meat and pico in your arepa for a special, authentic treat! I need to come back here for dinner! Yum and so much fun!

Very good food. Love the bowls and have never had better fried plantains. Also have very good/unique juice options. Big fan of the Venezuelan Lemonade. Not super cheap but I think the portions reflect their price well and the taste of them makes the dishes worth even more than they cost.

This was my first experience with Venezuelan dining. The dishes were appetizing, and the staff made everyone feel as if they were more than customers. Friendly and warm, with artwork and history on every wall. I would highly recommend stopping through for a family dinner and a great experience.

Very nice place, some of the items range $12-$17 but believe me, they are good. "The arepas" are so good, I tried the one with shredded beef and shredded cheese. The don't sell alcohol, however the place is BYOB. The staff is friendly and our server (a young Venezuelan guy) was super nice. I'd definitely recommend the place for eating.

First time experiencing Venezuelan food and our server Pablo was more than helpful in recommending different options and appetizers. Everything was delicious and a very pleasant, laidback atmosphere. Definitely coming back.

The food was good but extremely overpriced for the small amount of food. $8 for an order of 3 super "SMALL" empanadas (kid size) and $8 for an order of plantains.
I am from Venezuela and decided to try this place with a couple of friends who have tried empanadas made by me (normal size). I felt embarrassed by their faces when we got these appetizers.
Not sure how they came up with those prices.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. I ordered the Pabellon Bowl and an Arepa Pelua. They were great! Most of all, our waiter, Pablo, was very kind and helpful. He'll give you whatever sort of recommendation you're looking for.
