This place is amazing! Really enjoyed the different fried food they had to offer. The heart of palm empanada and Kiba were just wonderful and affordable. I was impressed by the different groceries they had. So many that I have never seen or tasted. We loaded up on all the different snacks we saw. Check them out 100%.

I have been coming to this place for over 17 years. Best place in Chicago to buy Brazilian food and get some ready to eat Brazilian empanadas and other snacks. Chocolate cake is the best!

Amazing little restaurant/grocery shop with authentic Brazilian food. The pao de queija was so good and the cheese pasteis was even better! The feijoada was perfect and a little coffee and brigadeiro for a dessert tied it all together. I’ve never been so full but so happy

Their ready to eat food is delicious and they have a good selection of foods from Brazil that are not normally found in the US.
If you're Brazilian or a curious American it's definitely worth checking out!
Edit: Many moons later and I find myself coming here more and more frequently!

It is the best place to experience authentic "homemade" tasting brazilian food in Chicagoland. Besides their selection of some of the most popular brazilian dishes, they also make some of the best brazilian deserts and carry an assortment of typical products (including Guaraná soda) Made in Brazil for sale.
