Sushi Tokoro

This place has been hit or miss quite a few times. But when it misses, it misses pretty badly and I'm left with barely edible food and stomach pains. The most recent photo shows completely dark brown avocados and tuna which convinced me on the inconsistency. You get what you pay for but unfortunately I won't be going back again.

We only go to Chicago for family, food, and to fly. Well for the most part... for my daughter’s last two birthdays we went to Sushi Tokoro. Both times, service was attentive and polite. The food was fresh and servings were plentiful. The price was fair. The environment was casual, very clean and earthy feeling. Bathroom was immaculate. We parked a block west in the street, near a Burger King. This year we are attempting to make sushi at home, but if it fails, we might just drive from Kenosha to Chicago for a pick up!

I had a fantastic experience here. Service was perfect, there were multiple servers all being very attentive to our needs. They are super kind, polite, and not annoying at all. Sushi here was delicious. There were plenty of choices, each one better than the other. When I came here, I chose the all you can eat option, and will say it was very worth it. Having had multiple appetizers, sushi rolls, and their fried bananas, I was always satisfied!! Will say the King Kong Roll was the best.
